Badlands so I can get vinyl seats, drain plug floors, and a the High package for sound deadening. Only a FE and a Badlands can do this. (If they sell the sound deadening stuff on it's own, I might add it to a black diamond squatch, but not likely)
Cancel your reservation, and wait a year. Definitely do that...
Honestly, my Badlands build is almost 60k. Given what Raptors price out at, I don't see a Warthog being less than 80k anyway. I don't think I want to move up the price range that far. I'll be very happy with my rig, and I'll buy...
I am guessing 60k actual orders. The lag time will cause a lot of bleed. I was looking at Gladiators and Defenders, mostly out of morbid curiosity. I think lots of people will decide to pull the trigger, rather than wait.
If I could get the Army Green they have had on some of their models, I'd be really stoked. I also like Cement Gray a lot. I don't really love any of the Bronco colors, so I'm going with the closest to Cement that I can get; Carbonized Gray. I'm going to price an OD green wrap though.
I want the hard top too, and I think it's lame that the molded top is gray. It doesn't even match the carbonized gray paint, or the black mirrors/fenders. So regardless, it's going to look out of place and bad. (It's ok on Cactus Gray, but that's it) So I'm looking at a pretty penny for a black...
If it's just a 10mm bump, that should be easy. The lift is the key. I guess we'll have to see. I am not keen on it, but ordering the squatch is probably the simpler solution. The payment will only go up a little per month. On other trims, it's way more questionable.
My wife was driving a manual GTI like a maniac when I met her. She drives a manual like most men wish they could. I've learned a few things from her, because my experience was from the military driving big trucks. It's a whole other world with quick little cars.
The molded in gray top is godawful ugly imo. I'll be getting a black top, for sure. I bet you'll be able to body color. They've been talking about that on upper trims since day one. I also don't they'd be trotting that gray/white bronco around if they never intended to give it to us.
These prices are based on a survey. I think they are just surveying the big items, not the little things. I assume the body colored top will be no problem. White might be sketchy unless you get a white bronco.
The difference is negligible when you equip them similarly. You save a few grand, but don't have the advanced 4x4, high level instrument panel, sway bad disconnect, and a bunch of options that you just can't add to the black diamond.
