Lol, there's a lot of different ways this could be done and to announce you're working on it and looking forward to hearing from people, but not include *anything* specific... What was the point of saying anything in the first place? If this was hype generation it has the opposite affect on me...
@Donut Door Dude not sure if you need to be mentioned to get updates butttttt we're all asking for a photo or render or hell a napkin sketch of what you're working on??? Thanks!
I love'em - they killed any regrets I was having about not waiting for the Raptor.
If they had looked good, or even like something other than a blind kindergartener's first Play-Doh experiment then I might've contemplated reserving and then have to explain to my wife why I needed to...
I still can't but help think of CO as more of a yellow so thought I would compare to a famous yellow:
Nope, I guess it really *is* an orange...
Here ya go @ChompSticks right after my son washed it, we'll do a family shot with these two plus my daughter's sunset orange element ;)
I buy 5 at a time - they disappear every time I look away. Someday when we move to a new house I'll finally find them all, sell'em, and use the proceeds to buy a lift like @Dusty
FWIW I ordered one last week after talking to a nice guy at fordpartsdistributor.com who lol'd and was familiar with the backlog, said he gets a call every day or two, was still happy to go in the system and get an update, said scheduled for manufacture and will hit the channels end of March.
Apparently the seals shipped early, dropped my truck off other day and they replaced the seal easy peasy. No visual indication why the original was leaking, axle I guess looked fine too, hopefully that's the end of it. No issues in the fluids so why it looked milky when leaking just no clue...
I'm guessing the VIN was assigned based on ordering, not manufacturing, as mine was 00213 and didn't *enter* production until last week of November, 2021. There were already more than 213 running around the country by then, heck there were 10x that on Dirt Mtn probably. Mine was delayed...
Debating between this or an after-market, have you put 12v to it to see how bright it is?
When you say behind the tire, are you talking from underneath or from inside behind the plastic trim?
I'm chasing my own gremlin (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/drunk-fuzzy-screen-buttons.37396/) and would like to try this, are you referring to physical or electronic buttons? How long do you hold down?
wait, you got a seal on the 18th?!? I thought we were stuck until the 28th?! Or was it something else? Care to share your service report? I'd like to see what they did, with an eye to what might be needed on mine... and congrats back on the road at full strength!
Just started the other day, as you can see below the selected button on the nav screen (12" High pkg) goes all drunk & fuzzy in the *light* mode but NOT the dark mode. (tested in Auto as well during day=light=drunk)
All other buttons are crisp and fine, and when I switch from one to the next...
took mine into the dealer toady after a week for a fluid check (happy to say they are insisting, which is nice) and despite having leaks all week it was negligible drop in level - drove 180 miles running about town.
YMMV of course @brimoore476 , but I'm not worried about it as much as annoyed...
You can select different "MyViews" via the buttons on your steering wheel on the right side. This one is 'Offroad' and can stay on all the time regardless of GOAT mode (and is my default since I too HATE the crappy digital tach and redundant speedo)
