Many people have said you can just purchase the spacers anyway from mcmaster?
Does anyone have part numbers?
Both versions mentioned here don't look exactly standard.
I have nothing against someone making money, but when you go legal to keep your prices high, you lost me forever.
350.00...
Old post I know, but... Sometimes their sales reps are a little off the mark.
It's fully compatible. You can buy a flip top option for soft tops. The whole thing flips up while you do your thing, then it flips back down. Pretty sweet.
Great product. Iffy customer service.
Gobi panels and bars remove, leaving an open frame. The entire load isn't roof dependent. You can also get a flip up option on them, mainly intended for soft tops, but it does allow for the entire roof to be removed if so desired... The back included.
They're really spendy, and their customer...
Yes, it was more a case of me not being very in tune to how the light settings work, what with leaving it on auto.
This combined with 'Bambi mode', the new fogs from not having any before, plus the new bumper install... really left me over questioning the function.
I think it's working how...
So, I altered the following too after my install, and I think I have some odd headlight behavior now. Fogs function, but not on all settings...
------
BdyCM Configuration
Front fog lamps - change this to "Enabled".
Fog Lamp Switch - change this to "Enabled"
Using Front Fog With High Beam -...
I found a slight problem at the front panel middle swivel latches. No others.
You can see where the cut out doesn't quite cut back far enough. It fits when it's closed perfectly, but if you open it, it flexes the molle panel down to allow it to exist.
It's an easy fix but you'll need to cut...
Yes, I did wonder this while installing, as it isn't even centered any more.
It's not something impossible to live with, but it seems rather sloppy when there's so much room on the bull bar to get the right angle and not have it be too in the way.
This has been a most perplexing install.
Did anyone ever figure out a way to align the front camera properly after the ARB summit install on a LUX Bronco?
I have read up on some F150 forums about recalibrating the system after a camera relocation, but not much on here about it.
Everything else that got relocated seems to work well...
Okay. All done. :)
Multitudes of hardware missing. Many brackets with fitment issues. I don't quite have enough to put the rock guards on, but otherwise it's on, and bolted up relatively easily after all the problems.
May I ask how your front camera ended up displaying? Mine seems comically...
I have a lux trim, so yes to parking sensors.
Bumper is out and harnesses stripped out... I'm left with a intercooler shutter plug, and a sensor plug over there on the drivers side.
I believed I was supposed to find the fog wiring around the recovery point?
*edit* Am I dumb as hell, or are...
I've read through some threads on this swap, but can't locate this specific detail.
I was told it was tucked behind the bumper on the models that didn't come with oe fogs on the lower cost bumper, but I'm swapping over my modular bumper to an ARB and installing the fog switch. Modular bumper...
Right. I have the upper IC bolts out. It's returning them inside the bracket, with a packer washer underneath in that space I'm having trouble with...
Now in questioning if we're talking about the same books. It sounds as though you had a way to free up space a little more? Or perhaps I'm mistaken?
That is the same set I have... Can't imagine how else it could be reached.
Good idea on loosening the intercooler above.
If you have a moment, would you be able to specify which bolts you mean? A picture or a diagram... Might help future generations of installers.
I'll take a look myself...
Many thanks, Lewy.
It helps to just hear that others may have seen similar, and how finicky they were with making it good.
There's that problem when installing your own stuff where sometimes it's hard to know how good enough is good enough.
I can half ass everything and drill the brackets out...
Are yours gearhead? I have the same set :D *edit* Oh, I see the icon logo on it now.
Yes, this is what we used... There was so little room, and what with the ratchet only going one way on my set, the bolt couldn't be completely removed above the intercooler, because it would trap the wrench...
Do you mind if I ask how you handled this? I have some uncertainties over the hardware they sent. Both my bracket tops are for the same side, but that combined with the intercooler bolts...
The one on my drivers side is impossible to return to its home, even without the bracket and washer in...
The question "does it work?" is hard to tell right now. I'm really stuck on this part.
They can't angle down. The tolerances in there wouldn't allow the bracket to face down.
To say the upper intercooler mounting bolts are tight to work on in there is an understatement. The drivers side is...
