@CruiserGuy it’s a plastic mount that has a clip on the bottom and then 2 screws would screw through the top of the bumper - definitely not something I wanted with the standard bumper. Maybe the steel bumper has a better option?
I was heading into my service appointment to check the modem and thought I'd first try again to connect FordPass (for the 10th time) and of course it worked now. Glad I didn't have to take it in and wait at the dealership!
@CruiserGuy Thankfully no. No mudflaps - just some vinyl badging below the Ford badge that I will take off with the heatgun. When I asked them not to install the front license plate cover they were fine with that.
I was also told my modem isn’t receiving data and needs to be reset to resolve the FordPass activation issue - but no one said it was a 3-hour process! I’m going in on Wednesday to get it done. Let me know how yours goes.
My modem doesn’t appear to be receiving info preventing me from activating the vehicle in FordPass. I’ll be heading back to the dealership to do a firmware update or something based on what FordPass said to resolve the issue.
Yes - I'm with Ken Garff American Fork and while there have been challenges there, they at least were able to provide the rail car number. Hopefully you're right behind me or maybe on the same train?
What size tires did you use with the RTRs? Did you do a lift/level kit? I should be getting my non-SAS OBX Bronco this week and if I can’t find some cast-off Badlands then the RTRs is what I want to go with.
I’ll be there the first week of November - super excited. I should have my Bronco in the next couple of weeks so I’m excited to try a few trails out on my own afterwards.
Exciting - I'm just about the same timing as I got my Built email last Friday and Shipped email Monday. As of yesterday it was on a train in Indiana. Unfortunately, while Ken Garff American Fork is honoring MSRP, they're also adding an after-market GPS/anti-theft feature that apparently they...
I got my Built email this morning and it's estimating 3-4 weeks for delivery to Utah (rail). Although some other threads seem to feel like Broncos are getting on railcars much faster than before so hopefully it will be on the low-end of that.
