I installed clear PPF in each door sill and then installed the Black Platinum Door Sill plates (https://accessories.ford.com/products/bronco-4dr-2021-black-platinum-door-sill-plates). The plates look great and the PPF provides broader coverage than the plates do.
I have 5 OBX castoff 18" wheels/32" tires including TPMS/lugs that I'm selling. $500 OBO - if there are multiple OBX Owners that may be interested in buying single wheel/tires as a backup for inevitable wheel damage let me know and maybe we'll just sell them as singles.
I’ll be doing the exact same thing hopefully in about a week or two. Anything surprise you during the takeoff/install? Did you get the Badlands wheels aligned/balanced or just stick with the factory? Have you noticed any difference in the speedometer?
Definitely go with the rear locker and higher gear ratio. My OBX is not SAS but I'm upgrading to 33" wheels which the higher gear ratio will support. The 4A transfer is also recommended.
I have the Lux package and I love the adaptive cruise control and all the other bells/whistles that it...
My one main regret on my OBX build is not going with the MOD bumper since it doesn't appear aftermarket options are going to easily support the ACC and other sensors for parking, collision assist, etc. If anyone in the UT area is replacing their MOD bumper with something aftermarket let me know...
I've had my OBX for >1k miles now with one longer road trip to/from Off-roadeo in Moab and I'm very happy I went with ACC, Lane Keep Assist. Having gotten used to those features in our Subaru Ascent it's awesome to have them on the Bronco as well. I'll be switching to the Badlands non-SAS...
If you just go to accessories.ford.com it references the 15% off, but it's only on limited parts - you can't get everything with the discount. I also couldn't get the accessories site to recognize my regular Ford login, and you have to be registered to get the discount so hopefully others have...
Those are some great ideas - flashlight's there, the knockoff leatherman will be going on shortly. Maybe I can mount my putter across the back with some golf balls so I can stop at a putting green whenever I feel like!
I'd like to - especially with some more experienced off-road drivers to guide the way. I've got the Off-Roadeo in early November so looking forward to unleashing its potential after that.
My timeframe to Ken Garff American Fork was: built email 9/10, Shipped email 9/13, took delivery 9/27 (it actually made it to the dealership late on Friday 9/24 I believe).
A zip tie seems like an elegant approach compared to what other "high tech" car companies do: https://www.thedrive.com/tech/36274/tesla-model-y-owners-find-cooling-system-cobbled-together-with-home-depot-grade-fake-wood
