Chose a 4 door because I need the space for friends, the dog, the mountain bikes, etc. etc. Have had 4 door Explorers since 1992 and I appreciate the utility.

Going with Iconic Silver. Think it goes well with the gray wheels and MIC top. Currently own a 2020 Fusion AWD in Iconic Silver and really like the look. Plus I don't have to wash the car every couple of days like dark colors. And... I need to sell that Fusion! :rolleyes:

I originally went for the soft top but changed my order for the MIC top because of the rear def and wiper washer delete. Also not a fan of the plastic rear window. Seems like removing the MIC panel in the first row is a snap. I am guessing there will be some nice aftermarket soft top options...

I chose the standard soft top bc my dealer said there was late availability on the hardtops, plus I saw a YouTube video that showed the various opening options with the standard top. Looked ok to me and I plan on getting a hardtop later on. Used might be the best move.
