Nice Setup, I'm jealous!
I'd love to do something similar eventually.
For now I'm just rolling with this big ole 100ah LiFePO4 I got for $150 & I'm using 12v from the outlet to charge a tiny bit while driving & I plug a charger in 2x a week to top it off.
It's only powering a starlink mini...
I got some of my interior accessories from them. Floor mats, Door pocket panels, etc.
All about the same as the Mabett stuff or generic Amazon.
I did get my front grille light up letters from them as well, harness went bad about 3 months after the warranty was expired, but the sold me a new...
welp, after reading this, I'm off to check my policy to see if it has an appraisal clause & also to learn what this costco setup is. My policy has been getting more expensive the last couple years. After a solid decade of nothing, I had a speeding ticket about 18 months ago, hit a deer last...
First thing I did when I got mine was start a spreadsheet for everything.
Mods, pricing, purchase vs list price, install date.
Maintenance records, costs, part numbers, torque specs etc.
Cool. we didn't do those while were there. we only had about 2.5 days in Sedona. We did Broken Arrow, Cliffhanger, Devil's Bridge (and the hike to the bridge), Diamondback Gulch & a bunch of forest roads in Coconino to get an awesome sunset view one night. I have a buddy who lives in the...
No real info to add to the conversation, seems everyone has given you solid advice so far.
I'm curious which trail you were on. I just wheeled in Sedona a couple months ago.
I did 3 trails Saturday that were rated 6-7 I think.
Then did a trail that wasn't rated at all & it kicked our butts because of the mud lol.
But on a dry day, it was probably not that bad.... so the ratings are nice, but not infallible.
I need a better spot for mounting my traction boards during 24hrs of Appalachia Rallies!
This would be perfect! And a great spot to mount an awning for camping trips.
For about 400/500, check FB marketplace for the cargo area drawer - it's super handy to have
And for around 100 you should be able to find a set of Badlands takeoff Rock Rails.
They're not the "best" rock rails for actual rock crawling, but they're better than nothing & cover the ugly ass pinch...
I like them. The weather in PA sucks most of the year, so I don't know how much I'd be able to use them, but they're definitely cool looking & I like the modularity.
First, as everyone has mentioned, use a proper jacking point.
Second, I'm rolling with this.
Had to use it 2x this weekend at a rally - Once when the guy in front of me de-beaded a tire & his wasn't tall enough for where he was at & again when I had so much mud in my wheels I needed to pull...
22 WT here. I think I have had my camera be black one time. I noticed it like a week ago actually.
I parked without the camera, put the vehicle in park, back to reverse, camera was working. Haven't noticed it since.
But sure, I'll take a new camera whenever they get around to it.
I'd...
100%. I used the shelf for a 6k mile trip out west with no issue.
We did a lot of highway miles & some trails in Sedona, Glamis dunes, Johnson Valley, Sand Hollow & Moab. But we were never in a hurry.
Had no issue.
It had traction boards on top, 2 Rotopax on the sides & a farm jack on the...
Boots - Check tie rod & CV boots frequently.
They're easier to tear than you think & a failure can get expensive.
I tore a Tie Rod boot while on a rally event & ended up needing a new steering rack.
Air Filter - Check it after every day on the trails. It take 10 minutes & even just checking...
