@Broncolli FYI, @NayNay has been exceedingly responsive, most of the time my (numerous) emails have been answered almost immediately. Even if my original dealer honors X-Plan, I'm still happy to have switched to Leonardtown Ford.
Thanks again to @rcbickle and everyone else who has arranged this...
If my Escape dies or needs a major repair before the Bronco is released, one plan is to buy a used Outback or Forester. Besides their reliability and all-wheel drive, they come in green.
If the original card is credited, won't the bank make the fund transfer for you? This happens all the time with credit cards (though I don't know if it's true with debit cards).
If my Bronco is OJ White and Ford announces a yellow or sage green in the next model year, especially with a white top, yeah, I'll sell OJ and take the $10K. I don't plan on trading in my Escape so I already have a daily driver.
The waiting IS the hardest part. But there is a timeframe now, unlike earlier this year. We're all getting a little antsy with Covid-19 and how 2020 has been. The hope of a new Bronco, and, to be honest, the B6G Forum, are what's getting me through this year.
Will the Hellcat be your antidote...
I'm a single guy and have never waivered from the two door. Haven't driven a two door in over 20 years and do like the extra space of a four door and being able to throw my gym bag or groceries on the back seat vs. the way back. I've always envisioned my Bronco as a two door. But a four door is...
My understanding is that Ford's policy is to prevent unscrupulous dealers (what, that's a thing?) from trying to game the system. We all can think of several ways of doing this.
I have a very legitimate reason for needing to test drive before buying: impaired night vision. Both @Granger Ford...
I'm 5' tall with limited night visibility. I am going to order in December presuming I will love the new Bronco. Must test drive at night before deciding. If it's not for me, I'm sure the dealer will be happy to sell it to someone else. Really have nothing to lose.
