Ya, I don’t disagree.
What’s frustrating is that the tracker isn’t actually tracking, and the email update isn’t a true update.
It just makes the fog of what’s going on even worse.
Man, Ford couldn’t be run by bigger idiots.
I’ve been in built status for nearly two weeks on their tracker. They send me a built status confirmation email today!
And, what I really want to know is if I’m shipped. My dealer says I am (as of 10 days ago), but I’m not in shipped status.
And...
I’m a 1/17 build week too.
My status says “built,” so I’m still waiting for it to update to shipped.
However, my dealer said he’s seen it on rail and moving.
I don’t understand how Ford can be so incompetent.

Someone really smart chose that as the dealer email account, rather than a consumer one.
This is just a canned email they’ve had in place for people who ACTUALLY went extra QC.
They’ve not even bothered to draft anything original.

I woke up to this emails and thought, “fuuuuuuuk” - I’m supposed to be on a rail car. Wtf
And then thought: let me see what the group has. Much happier to hear that some “rock star” at Ford hit send on a stale, recycled, UNTRUE email to a random group of customers...
The entire Ford marketing team should be fired.
They’ve got no control over inaccurate, uninformative, and misleading emails being sent to massive, random groups of customers?
How the heck does any viable company do that? Hope the QA team for my vehicle isn’t the same QA team in charge of...

Ford has a list of bs explanations and excuses and diversions, and they throw them into responses at random. Next they’ll tell me that I am in the best position to provide additional information.
