Mine has gotten rained on with the top off a few times. The first time it had an inch of rain dumped in it when the forecast showed sunny skies. I wouldnāt want it to happen too often but everything still works.
A little late to this comment but long ago my friend slammed down a little hard on his 80 Cherokee Chief with the 258 and the oil filter hit the frame puncturing the oil filter. We were able to phone a friend to bring a new filter and some oil but the filter was too tight and we couldnāt unscrew...
The rims are supposed to look like the original hub caps, so should pay homage. Probably wouldnāt look good on much else other than heritage editions and retro mod builds.
I came here to read all the whiner and hater comments and yāall didnāt disappoint. Too many doors, the Bronco wasnāt produced continuously, not a badlands, blah blah blah. I think it looks good but I wonāt be replacing my Bronco anytime soon, and if I had to it would be a badlands. If my wife...
Iāve only bought KO2s when replacing tires since probably 2001 and currently have them on a 2019 Expedition. Iāve never had an issue on wet roads, maybe I donāt drive aggressive enough. Not saying others experiences are bogus but Iāve just never had an issue. Theyāve done well for me in any...
Is it time to choose? Iām going to have to go with @Dusty. I thought he had the best photo at a nice mountain lake.
Iām glad BroncoBob was inspired to take a trip up to Crater Lake, I hope it was a nice getaway.
Thanks @dpAtlanta. I didnāt actually have a plan for a next challenge and it seems there arenāt a lot of original ideas left at this point in the thread. But, last week we drove our Bronco up to Goose Lake in Red River which requires crossing 2ft+ of river and 4wd to access. Iāve been up there...
Donāt over think it. The hitch and extension ought to be stronger than the hammock. If you canāt put 300 lbs on it no one should be towing with it.
I was going to say the same. 350 lb rating takes into account the up and down forces while towing. Someone sitting in a hammock shouldnāt be an issue. Maybe just try to keep it under 600lbs, how big are your friends?
There are a few 24s at a dealer near me that all have a little over 1,000 miles on them that theyāve had marked down for months. Mine had 4 miles on it when I test drove it and about 50 when I made the purchase at the end of the day. 695 doesnāt sound bad, hopefully the loanees were good to it.
When I was looking last year the tow module was difficult to find or more expensive than the full kit. I got the full factory kit or $270 from Auto Nation Parts.
I need to get out there. I grew up in Amarillo and my parents currently live in Claude. I spent a lot of time at PDC growing up but the off road park came about after I moved away. When we visit we take the Expedition but this is reason enough to take the Bronco. Iād have to hit up the Canadian...
