I've been driving manuals since I learned how to drive in the mid '80s, I like driving manuals. Sorry some people have different tastes than you do. Also, don't have several hundred thousand dollars for a resto-mod, and not sure why your brought super cars into the conversation since we are...
From my recollection, all the old Broncos of yore only had the rear shell removeable, the front top was like a pickup truck roof and remained in place. I, too, prefer the old school option than the newer version.
Maybe it's like a child proof cap and you have to push down a bit before you can continue to turn it. I haven't checked my Bronco yet, but that was the way it has been on most of my previous vehicles.
I try not to distract other drivers from driving, and I personally pay more attention to what vehicles on the road are doing than I do to the people driving the vehicles. I will certainly provide a friendly wave when appropriate.
Considering that 4G has been out for well over a decade, I don't think the introduction of 5G will cause the immediate removal of 4G. It will probably be quite a few years, though maybe not 12 years like 3G.
I think it's funny that Covercraft does not have any sun shades for the 2022 Broncos, you have to claim you have a 2021 Bronco. I have seen this with a lot of aftermarket items, even on Ford's own parts websites.
I was browsing their website and they mention Jeeps and overlanding a few times, but they make it seem like some of the trails are not designed for full size vehicles. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in!
