  1. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

The VR wheels were my first choice but they were having difficulty with manufacturing and shipping delays so I bought the Icons as a temporary wheel. Then the VRs shipped much earlier than expected. I think the Icons are great. I am actually selling the ones I have...
  2. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

https://elementfire.com/collections/allproducts/products/roll-bar-mount Kind of expensive for what it is, but I liked the look and it sits well on the roll bar. You will need to drill a hole in the mount to match with the pre-threaded holes in the roll bar.
  3. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

The stripes are from Underground Graphics. I watched their install video a couple of times before putting them on. Pretty easy if you take your time and are careful. The material is really good quality and goes on super smooth.
  4. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

I used these ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OU5LOT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 It was pretty simple to connect. I connected the Aux 6 wire to the one that comes out behind the glove box. The unit comes with a wire connection that looks like you can just wire it...
  5. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

I used these ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OU5LOT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Aux 6 wired to the line that comes out behind the glove box.
  6. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

I have the Apollo Pros that you linked. Running spreads on the outside lights and a single spot in the middle. You can go back to the original post to see the KC mount I added for the center light.
  7. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

  8. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

Good luck! I am sure there are videos out there on removing the bumper. I don't think you need to remove any trim or the grill. Leaving all that in place helps with the test fitting. Looking back, here is what I would have done: 1) disconnect fog lights, driver side connection (if you have...
  9. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

    15.75"
  10. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

I don't think there is any contact or rubbing. (I hope not, I thought I was pretty careful with the location) I will take some closeups tomorrow so you can see the clearance all around.
  11. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

If you have the HD modular bumper like jcgcbns22 then no drilling required and you can just buy a bar from one of the many suppliers. If you have the capable bumper (which is why you are asking I suspect), then yes, you have to drill the bumper to mount anything. For the MY22 Badlands the HD...
  12. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

Looks Good! I also bought a Greenlane bar to try but it doesn't fit on the capable bumper. Not enough angle for clearance since the capable bumper sits closer to the grill.
  13. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

Seems solid enough to me. I have not tried running down a really bumpy road at night, but no wobble from the bar when you grab and pull. I can't comment on the camera since I don't have one. If it would help, I can take additional pictures or measure distances for you.
  14. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

Thanks! It is actually a Jeep Bar: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K8BJG9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I couldn't find anything for the capable bumper so I went with this one. I ordered several different options to find the one that fit the best. Then it was pretty...
  15. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

Here is a link the bar I installed: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K8BJG9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Yes, I drilled the bumper and bolted the bar on. I was going to thread the holes but the bumper is too thin to support the bolts, so thru bolt and nut. I think the...
  16. The Flying Saucer Badlands Build

Took delivery on February 1 of a Badlands SAS 2.7. We started calling it the Flying Saucer since people are still asking us about it and taking pictures as we are driving around. My wife and I say, "we would get less attention if we drove a flying saucer". Other than some minor items...
  17. KC Lights on Capable Bumper

I was going for a sort-of retro look with the KC lights with stone guards. Pretty simple to attach the bar and wire the lights in to aux switches. Center spot to Aux 2 and outboard driving lights to Aux 1.
  18. Bar/Hoop Installed on Capable Bumper

I installed a JK bar to my capable bumper since I couldn't find one made for the capable bumper. My install went like this: 1 - remove bumper 2 - drill holes 3 - bolt on bar 4 - re-install bumper
