Ya thats the fix that worked for me too. So far. This is a good thread also, see first post for videos of the noise.

Its the boot on the front driveshaft. Lots of us have that noise, there are many threads on here about it. Only happens at low speed after the boot is warmed up. Got mine to go away by man handling the boot, seems you need to get the seals lubed better, was a tip in one of the threads.
That is not something you could do, at all. The factory amp is also the DSP, and powers 4 other speakers. Replacing the DSP and amping the speakers was not the direction of my install. And the power wires to it are tiny, since the factory amp is so underpowered. You could not use them to...
Since you have installed alot of these on Broncos, do the Amp powesteps make a loud clunk noise when closing? I have the smart series, I dont expect them to be silent, but damn its loud when they close.
Seatbelt was also main source of my rattling. I have doubts replacing those two piece clips will help anything, definitely not in my Bronco. Line everything possible with Kilmat and adding rubber washers top and bottom of all sub enclosure mounting locations. Fixed mine 95%.
Nope, not regular WD40, its the white lithium version. I sprayed half a can in there and not a drop leaked out, the stuff stays where you spray it and wont hurt anything.
I had the tick from day 1, and did the white lithium spray lube trick. It didnt work on the first try, but on the second try I must of sprayed half the bottle in there. I just went ape shit with it spraying in every hole, every direction. It has been perfectly quiet for over a year now. If...
Where did you pull your inputs for the sub amp from? You should have been shaking the windows after adding the sub without any forscan changes, if you pulled them from the proper kick panel speakers.
And for that sub you can just pull the plastic trim piece off the housing and install without...
It’s actually the opposite. If the Bestop latch “J hook” does not catch the Bronco bracket square in the middle of the bend, then the latch does not draw down the top all the way because of the restriction. This also causes the release issues as the end of the latch catches against the bracket...
This is literally the best Bronco news I have heard in a long time, exactly what many of us have been asking for since summer 21. I hope the rockstars can figure out how to send it down to the rest of us.
