Correct that was/is the kpa ecu. Now that's replaced by the 2023 ecu which currently isn't unlockable.

They absolutely can tell, especially when you have to swap the ecu.... you can't tune it and count on the warrenty. They could deny it most of the time they don't care but they can absolutely tell and could deny your claim if it's a failure related to your tune.
