  5. Making the most of what you got...

Another creepy angle. Mounted to factory rails. Here I am torn between buying a pull behind or how my Bronco will handle with a roof top tent mounted. I'm now leaning towards the roof top
  6. Making the most of what you got...

Of course I creepily took a photo, but only after he swirved on a curve into the next lane. Didn't think much of it until that. That's when I asked myself...is that really safe
  7. Making the most of what you got...

Was behind a Rogue today with a large rooftop tent attached, with a foot or more of overhang all the way arond. I thought ok, rock on! Until I saw it go around a slight curve. For a second it look like the car would roll over. Not ragging on the guy but is the really safe?

  10. Horrible suspension lift experience: Need advice on alignment vs. adjustable rear track bar

For sure! I ended up installing my suspension after being quoted $1700 for labor. Took me a full day. Got it aligned the next morning. Learned a lot and can now diagnose my own suspension related issues.
  11. Horrible suspension lift experience: Need advice on alignment vs. adjustable rear track bar

Or do it yourself. If you have the right tools you can do anything. Even better knowing it's installed correctly and torqued to spec.
  12. Defender-Style Side Box and Ladder?

Literally just installed both side box and ladder last week. Waiting for my shop to color match the side box next week (comes in gloss black). I'll post pics of the setup in the a.m. I've received a helluva lot of attention and praises for the look. Personally I LOVE the look.

Anyone know the Forscan setting for turning off "Transmission Not In Park" ding ding ding when doors are off? I already disabled seatbelt chime. The ding happens whether the seatbelt is enaged or not, when the doors are off. You're forced to hit the "ok" button, which seems kills the annoying...
  15. Broke soft top rail clip. Where to buy replacement?

Yep. These are sturdy, solid and heavy duty compared to the originals. I replaced both mine with these. Unreal that Ford made the oem out of plastic
  16. Well we bought this thing

I agree, that's one of the best looking rear bumpers that I've seen. Clean looking.
  17. Well we bought this thing

Looks great! About that rear bumper, I believe it's Smitty Built. Is there any wiggle room to raise it about 3/4 inch? For example, if you had a 3/4" body lift, which leaves a gap between the bumper and body. I downloaded the install directions for your bumper but can't see if this is possible...
  18. Ford/SYNC Navigation subscription question 🧭

Yeah it sucks that you lose basic navigation functions. I use waze, but there were a couple of times I was out of cell service and needed basic navigation. Every car that I've owned in the past 30 years had basic navigation...free.
  19. 37" KO2s on Black Diamond 2.7 Non-SAS

No tune as of yet, i'm thinking about it though. I also forgot to mention that those MPG numbers above are with 87-89 octane, not premium octane. I felt the same about driving next to SAS equipped trucks. They always appeared just slightly taller than my truck when I was running the 315s. I...
