  1. Who else has been bumped to a '23?

Yes, "Balanced" means pushed to the next model year, per Ford's lingo. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/ford-cancelled-my-maverick-order-ford-customer-service-transcript-attached.12422/page-2
  2. KOONS FORD OF BALTIMORE NIGHTMARE!!!

Are they related to Koons Jeep in Tyson's Corner? Same parent organization?
  3. Is it wise as a newcomer to off roading to go to the Off-Rodeo alone?

It's probably easier to do it alone, as you won't have a partner distracting you at moments you prefer to concentrate.
  4. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

Thanks! Yeah, I had a 1998 TJ 4 cyl 5spd Sport, and a 2015 Willy Wheeler Unlimited JK auto softtop before. Looking forward to experiencing a 2023 Rubicon JL *OR* a 2022 Bronco Badlands. Whichever is the winner will be a new experience, either way!
  5. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

Yep. Badlands. 2 door. 7MT. Sasquatch. High package. No tow package...at least there's that! Constrained out the wazoo. It's cool, if Ford can't build it in 2022, maybe then can in 2025 or 2026.
  6. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

I would only buy a Jeep if Ford doesn't move my status to "Scheduled for Production" before a factory ordered Jeep is delivered.
  7. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

Yup. 10/13/21 at 4:05 pm. My dealer is highly responsive. There is a thread specifically for that dealer in the ORDERS forum, with an order spreadsheet that is updated regularly. In late March, I was #11 on the timestamped list. I am now #7 on that list. Many order have filled in behind me. My...
  8. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

This information is a bit dated. The Bronco's Sasquatch option has forced Jeep to "improve the breed" by offering a factory solution of the Xtreme Recon package on the Willy and Rubicon trim levels. Invoice for this package is $3596. As with the Ford volume dealers, there are several Jeep...
  9. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

Thank you! I do really hope Ford comes through. The reality is I'll already be waiting another month to place a Jeep order, and at that point it will be another 3-4 months to get a 2023 delivered, based on current info. I could cancel or abandon the Jeep order if there is actual movement with...
  10. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

My dealer has been quite transparent - I can't fault them in the least. Ford shows my status unchanging for many, many moons. Ford's customer line encourages me to contact my dealer. July 14th 2022 will mark two years...730 days since I put down a deposit to get my name on the reservation...
  11. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

...today I rejoined TREAD LIGHTLY to get the old 1% below invoice on a Wrangler ...I talked to a JL owner about likes/dislikes, ...and Jeep just updated their "Build and Price" with info on the 2023 Wrangler. I've TRIED to be strong, but my 7/14/20 reservation for a 2 door, 7MT, high...
  12. Wisconsin 2022 Bronco Badlands For Sale

Miller Motors, Burlington WI https://www.millermotorsales.com/ Funny, the unit is not listed on their webpage. Haven't checked Yelp reviews yet to see if anyone is discussing this.
  13. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Click on the individual units - they all say "Not in stock - In transit or currently on order"
  14. Should I order now or wait?

Go for it. A dealer will take your deposit and put in the order once the order banks re-open. I'm a July 14, 2020 reservation holder, currently closing in on about two years in line. I placed the reservation on a whim, even though a didn't "need" a vehicle at that time. Now, 23 months later...
  15. Interesting that folks would prefer '22 over '23...

No one is talking about 12 months. Reading is fundamental. 😂
  16. Anyone Recently Finance Bronco Through Ford?

PenFed Credit Union is fairly easy to get into. Rates are currently 3.24%/60 and 3.29%/72. These are good for both new loans and for re-fis, so you could conceivably go with however your dealer papers you and then re-fi.
  17. NHTSA Opens Investigation Into Bronco 2.7L V6 Over Catastrophic Engine Failures

Flash forward to CAR & DRIVER, June 2028 issue: "For some old school fun in the sun, there's no better option than a used Ford Bronco. Savvy buyers know to avoid the problematic 2.7 liter motor from the first two years, opting instead for the peppy 2.3."
