Anyone here leaning or buying the Black Diamond JUST for the seat covers and floor covering?
I wont off road near as much as many of you will, but this will be our go to vehicle to go to the beach with. I just dont want to drop $$$ on seat covers and rubber mats to cover.
It's Bestop's Sunrider for Hard Tops that are for Jeeps today. You take off the freedom panels and put the sunrider in its place. It can be removed and the original panels put back if you wanted to. Not sure how many Jeep owners do that, I would guess that after its installed, the panels are...
This just helped with my decision to get the hard top only. Just to be able to roll down the windows, flip back the "sunrider" and pop out the rear quarter windows will give a great air flow and (I would expect) no buffering.
A real SUV will not be a comfortable, highway speed driver. I have driven 4runners, JKU, and FJ. Its the nature of how these are built and what they are for. (Solid axles, body on frame and off-road.)
Now driving in-town and having to deal with potholes and speed bumps; their are great...
