I am wondering how to over come this too. I wish Bestop would make a sunrider for hardtop that covered both the front and the middle. It does seem like there will be a short rack that covers just the read and maybe you could store the middle panel on it. You would need some type of storage bad...
For me, its the Modular or Bust. To be able to roll down the windows, take the front panels off AND the rear quarter windows will help create a good wind flow and reduce the wind baffling.
I hate having to wait MORE for this top. I may just keep the soft top and get the Modular separately...
If I get the MIC Hard top, this is how I will run it in the summer. I would love to if Bestop could make make a Sunrider that could fold back and give open sky to both the front and rear passengers while the hard cap stays on back on. That would seem like the best of both hard/soft worlds.
Very happy to see the video. Pretty much works like the OEM Jeep JL and the new Bestop Ultra top. I think the extra buckles are to help keep it tight to allow wind to come into the cabin and not blow off the soft sides. I really don't see what more Ford could have done outside of copying a...
The only one now to order is the MIC Grey hard top with 2 front removable panels, a single panel in the middle and removable rear cap over the cargo area. (4 Door Model)
The Modular top is black with all the same removable panels plus removable rear quarter windows. It was supposed to be an...
It is my understanding that you can only fit the front LH and RH roof panels inside the Bronco and the middle single piece will not fit inside. (Aside from laying the rear seats down.
Any possibilities of securing it to the top of the rear cap using a bag and the roof rails? Given that I live...
I am getting the soft top now and order the modular top later. I have to have the hard top with the removable rear quarter windows. Seem like we will have to wait a year after launch to get that one. Then again, a 3rd party may make a top with that feature sooner.
One of the reasons I am getting the BL is for the vinyl seats alone. And why it is no an option in all trims baffles me. I do not want to drop 40K on the bronco and then another 500 on seat covers.
That's good to know, would be even better if it came prep'ed for painting custom color.
Its the modular top or bust. The captain wants his removable rear quarter windows.
Did I miss it or is the Black Modular top not available for any trim? For me, its that hard top or not. I want to be able to pop the rear quarter windows, roll down the door windows and keep the hardtop above my head.
It seems (so far anyway) that you have to get at least the Outer Banks trim to get the modular hardtop.
Any word if Ford will sell the Modular Hardtop as an accessory? Like Jeep / Mopar will.
It will be my daily driver and meant for fun. Not a lot of 4 door, 5 passenger convertibles on the market. It will be the vehicle we take to the family to the beach and I wont care about sand and water on the seats or floors.
It will NOT be a pimped out / mall crawler like the all too many...
