OP, lots of information all over the place on this thread, so I will try to provide some clarity.
If that is your Bronco in the picture you posted it looks to be an OBX with the Sasquatch package, if that is the case, you have the 4.7 gearing. The 2.3 paired with that gear ratio is a good...
I was beginning to think that I was the only one using the rear axle as a jack point.
This thread reminds me that I gotta change oil and rotate tires on both Broncos this coming weekend. Sure it's a chore but I got a system down and can do each vehicle in under 30min
I like the overall concept just not some of the design cues. I know they started with a BB, but 100k seems like a bargain. Considering the work needed to extend the frame, all body panels except the doors are aftermarket or custom, paint liner, the custom top, lift, wheels, custom interior...
You should be able to. I would get a quote from the upholstery to see how much it is to modify the rear cover to accommodate the arm rest. It may be more cost effective to buy a new rear from Katzskin. Or at least the armrest piece from them.
I don't see anything in there about a camshaft failure or multiple attempted repairs of the same problem that would result in a lemon. Just a bunch of "minor" repairs and it may just be one of those cursed vehicles that always has problems.
Ford would go out of business if they lemoned...
Does a lemoned vehicle get some sort of branded title or does it just show on the Carfax report? If it is on the title I would pass as it will be much harder to unload in the future.
If it was just a camshaft I wouldn't be to concerned but I would want to see all the corresponding...
I had mine on since November of 2021. While they are not visible, here is a gratuitous pic nonetheless:
2021 BL 2.3 manual on Dirt Logic coilovers, Fabtech UCA's & rearlinks and Cooper STT Pro 37's
OP, part of the problem is the naivety and blatant contradictions.
For example, calling the BL sway bar disco marketing BS but claiming the different Bronco models are purpose built. Sure the WT has Fox shocks but what else makes it a "desert runner"? What else is purposeful about it? A Baja...
I will take credit for the laughing emoji's but I am quite selective in its application and only use it when a post is truly absurd. (Un)Fortunately, this thread is a target rich environment.
I did the same a couple a weeks ago. But I also did the windshield frame as well (which needs another coat or 2). I had done the door jambs last year too and it gives it a much better look when the doors are off.
Sorry, I just looked at your join date and see you are relatively new here. Some back story, way back when the first delivered Broncos were only a few months old, a member reported his MIC top started showing a snakeskin appearance and some bubbling/delaminating. A segment of the forum...
I think that technically the Off-Rodeo reservation is tied to VIN and not the buyer. Did you create an Off-Rodeo account and do a VIN check to see if your Bronco qualifies? Many people who bought used were able to go.
I mean, you gotta read all that fine print.
OP, if you are unable to get it sorted out but still want to go, try this trick to get a guest discount. Complete the Off Rodeo registration, add to cart but don't complete the transaction. In a few days you should receive an email with a discount...
