Not the OP but I drove a 2dr BB Monday and the wind noise made me believe the AC blower was going to MAX as the vehicle reached highway speed.
Getting older and hearing not what it used to be. I was surprised. I could not say where it was coming from.
This is absolutely an issue that needs addressing. No matter what the material is we don't need to be inhaling it.
Anyone remember the asbestos problem!
You are probably right about this. However when large dealers with allocations beyond their order book are able to tell customers "We can get you one in 6-8 weeks" new orders should improve.
Ford has promised "No stock orders before reservations are filled". Would that still hold when, let's...
I agree with your logic here but: Do new orders/reservations fall AFTER the old outstanding orders or get blended in because of allocations. Old + new orders should easily outnumber production capacity during 2022 - unless sales collapse.
Only Ford can answer this question.
This is the theory I have used since the beginning of problems in fall of 2020. Now I worry that new orders that should continue to accrue for Ford will exceed production capacity of MY 2022.
That is why I worry allocations will again supersede time stamps.
All in the details I suppose and possibly not a big deal but:
Dealer A --------------------Dealer B
2021 Allocation ------ 300 ----- 300
2022 Allocation ------ 600 ----- 500
Orders thru 3/31/21 ---- 1300 ---- 700
Orders displaced 2023 - 400---- (100)
This is the situation where new orders...
My thoughts were - Allocations for MY 21, then build ALL reservations made prior to 3/31/21 in 2022.
Incorrect obviously.
So now we must accept being displaced by new orders from dealers with unfilled allocations. The popularity of this vehicle is generating new orders every day, the backlog...
You may be absolutely correct, it would just be good to know that "Oh by the way, your dealers allocation moves you to 2023 for sure. Sorry."
I've seen plenty of talk about allocations in 2021. Now I would like clarification - yes, no, maybe - for MY 2022.
Spring of 2023 is along way off for a...
