Wrong, we took Fords word that orders would be built in reservation order, with obvious consideration for constraints and planning efficiency. @Ford Motor Company is not living up to this commitment. Punishing the Buyer!
If @Ford Motor Company built all their vehicle @MAP that argument may have more weight, but they don't. They are a big company, created the reservation system, promoted it, used it and now need to live up to their promise.
This is the Mike Levine, "Just find another Dealer" solution for the problems @Ford Motor Company has created. Sounds easy, RIGHT!
Ford promised, Ford promised. Well not really, fingers crossed....
@Ford Motor Company punishing the buyer....
The entire rational of upset buyers is @Ford Motor Company punishing them by IGNORING reservation timestamps and giving production to the MEGA dealers.
@Ford Motor Company is punishing your local dealer for being SMALL. Almost no impact from Granger. They are in the same boat as your dealer.
I agree completely with this scenario. By the time spring 22 rolls around Ford will easily be able to say this truthfully. Until then they can say "Let's wait for visibility" or some other fudge.
Never the less, it will still be @Ford Motor Company punishing the SMALL dealers customers.
↑^^^^^^↑↑↑↑^^^↑^^^^^^^^^^^^^^°
THIS will be happening nationwide to customers who Ford automatically assigned to "SMALL" dealers that now fall on the short end of the allotment stick. An there will be many beyond the "Discount" dealers.
Once again @Ford Motor Company punishing a customer for...
How can those of us who shopped local dealers and left feeling like they were not serious about our Bronco interests feel anything other than "This is your punishment".
We chose to go with Granger because we were assured by @Ford Motor Company orders would be built in order of reservation date...
Starting to sound pretty ridiculous to me knowing identical trucks ordered 6 - 12 months AFTER myself and many others will be driving around nearly a year before we will.
I'm an October special also. Some other members are referencing personal conversations with Granger employees about there allocations being insufficient to cover orders from 2020. One specific example was from a July order that would be pushed to 2023. And I'm not talking about MOD top folks. I...
So now Granger customers get the "Suggestion" you need to go to a "Regular" dealer and get your Bronco in a more timely manner.
I've had a concern since early summer the allocation system would end up being used to punish customers of Granger and other "Irregular" dealers. Now go hat in hand...
This is the issue SO many of us on the forum who moved to the "SMALL DEALERS" are upset about. Knowledge and price. I talked with several area dealers before making my choice. I tired of the "Don't know, Doubt it, NO way" for answers.
Not sure about extended tube, when loading rear storage area with gate open this could be a real shinbone killer. After all, you can't even open back hatch without opening gate so it would always be in the way.
