This thing is solid. The tailgate no longer shudders the way it did with the factory hinges.
Yeah, I opted to reuse the factory SAS tire carrier because I'm not mounting different wheels anytime soon, and it was far more cost effective for me to buy the tailgate by itself, with that in mind.
Thanks for sharing, @RagnarKon !
Do you happen to know if Ford is holding out on us with documentation of how to install the Perimeter Plus security alarm module?
Ford is like Sid from Toy Story, or the couple from Splice, recklessly fusing mismatched animals and loosing their abominations upon the unsuspecting roads.
Lol yes, because we'vee been together for several years, I'm not calling him my boyfriend. But today I'll throw our a "howdy, pardner" and see what happens.
There aren't any sensors that determine whether the roof is on or off, so I assume this would work as usual.
I just received the Ford Perimeter Plus module this week, and will be installing it myself in the next few days. Youtube has videos of people installing the same alarm in other...
Oh, no worries at all. I didn't mean to address the comment at you directly - only to comment on the perennial debate of trim hierarchy, and what constitutes "higher" and "lower."
The fact that people debate this at all means Ford Marketing may have been successful in convincing people to shell...
Do your have the LUX package? I'm equipped with the High package, and am actually having trouble determining whether there in fact is supposed to be an anti theft alarm, app connected or otherwise
I installed the Brandmotion Fullvue mirror, which gives you a front and rear dash cam combo. It's pretty good resold, but I was a doofus and didn't enable Park Guard because I'd read about it draining the battery in a short period.
I might have caught the license plate of the scumbag if I'd had...
Monday night, my partner and I returned to the parking lot to find my Bronco had been broken into.
The rear passenger window was totally smashed, and from the security footage I obtained through a business with cameras watching this area of the lot, the burglar was able to shatter the glass...
Good question, because I was very surprised by what I got. The OEM orange tow hooks are NOT cyber orange - they're more of an electric nacho color. At first I hated the mismatch, but I've got to accustomed to them enough that I stopped calling paint shops to have them repainted.
Also be...
Uh, this sounds like a lot more than a concern with the brakes. The car almost killed this man's family when the steering, brakes, and motor all stopped working simultaneously.
I'm still so in love with Cyber Orange. It's the color I immediately fell in love with, and just looks so good with the black accents of the bumper, fender flares, door handles, and soft top.
Looks just as good splattered in mud and dust, too!
More than a year on with my Badsquatch, and I can't believe the steering wheel doesn't have a pause button. Not even with the LUX oaxkage.
I'd love if Ford could ad a shortcut by long pressing the menu button so I don't have to take my eyes and hands off the wheel to pause music.
