  1. Ford Release Built FY21 MIC Top Broncos

Ford is continuing to struggle on initial quality with new vehicle launches. It’s like they’ve learned nothing from the Explorer and Aviator launch… They indicated the MIC top issue is cosmetic not structural so there should be no liability issue.
  2. Ford Release Built FY21 MIC Top Broncos

There are already MIC top Broncos that have shipped so that Bronco concern has already left the barn.
  3. 6/30 blend dates

Ford should ship at least customer order MIC top Broncos and have the tops replaced at a later date since it’s just cosmetic.
  4. Ford Release Built FY21 MIC Top Broncos

Now that we know Ford has decided to hold already built MIC top Broncos until at least October it’s clear customer satisfaction is not the true driver but instead cost savings. Otherwise, they’d deliver at least customer orders and have the dealers replace the top at a later date like for orders...
  5. 📣 Ford announces MIC hardtop solution (program 21B49): unscheduled orders will get MY2022, delivered & built Broncos will have tops replaced

This is unacceptable. Ship built customer orders and handle replacement tops through the dealership since this is cosmetic. Any dealer stock can sit at the plant and shipped at a later date. Ford would rather our Broncos sit for months continuing to upset order holders instead of absorbing...
  6. Painful (but responsible) solution to MIC issue decided. Announcement imminent.

Send out the built MIC top Broncos as is with a voucher for a MOD top once available.
  7. 6/30 blend dates

New week same In Production status...
  8. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

Given my First Edition has been built and sitting at MAP for over a month now I'm not feeling real confident about it ever shipping.
  9. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

If the chip shortage is for auto stop-start they can disable it on mine and I don't need the $50 credit they're giving out like on the F-150.
  10. 6/30 blend dates

At this point I’m happy to fly out to MAP on my own dime and quality check my First Edition. I’ll even pay private transport to ship it back to MD. 😆
  11. 2022 Bronco Paint Colors Leaked

That’s a really weak color lineup for 2022.
  12. Bronco Records 3,277 Sales and 6,072 Units Produced in July 2021

If they could only ship most of those build in July...
  13. 6/30 blend dates

Dealer checked the system today and the last status is still produced 7/1.
  14. Ford moving to Build-to-Order and away from inventory

The only way this works is if the dealers still carry some stock of popular configurations and they significantly speed up the customer order process so you can get a vehicles in two months or less. Ford is struggling to get anything out in a timely manor right now.
  15. 6/30 blend dates

Ford is known to initially put crazy prices on limited supply parts to keep people from buying them accept for when warranty work is needed.
  16. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

Doesn't sound like very many, just that some people were lucky to have their Bronco escape MAP before Ford figured it out. I'm sure they don't want to absorb the shipping costs sending roofs all over the US to be replaced at a later date hence here we sit.
  17. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

This is a great question as it ultimately impacts how many impacted until can repair and clear. I'd rather have six people and a thousand good tops doing the repairs than 100 people and 100 good tops.
  18. 6/30 blend dates

I have a feeling our "bad batch" Broncos are going the way of the 2020 Explorer and Aviator builds that were also put on a quality hold and "fixed" at a later date trickling into dealers months later. In fact they went so far as to send them to another plant to have workers fix them. Actually...
  19. ETA end dates - did you have one that disappeared?

The ETA popped up as 8/5/21 the other day and no it's back to N/A.
  20. 6/30 blend dates

I went through the same hassle with my wife's Focus RS and it wasn't fun. While I greatly appreciate the information you're providing the problem is we shouldn't have to rely on you. Ford should be able to articulate a plan for impacted builds and communicate it through the official channels...
