I mated this Tripod Mount Adapter to a 4" long 1/4-20 threaded rod from McMaster-Carr. I also have 5 Coupling Nuts threaded on the rod for stability and to act as jam nuts. Works quite well.

I purchased mine from a different vendor about a year ago and it has been working well. I have the Baja Designs Reverse Kit, so I had to mount the rear camera on top of the BD mount between the lights. Very pleased with this purchase.
