Now I'm curious if a January blend stuck in production status would register on a recall list or get handled as a QA item to avoid the recall stigma...
I'm probably insane, but if Ford every ships out my Heritage manual trans that's my daily driver, so... taking me to work and back. Exciting!
That green 2dr looks real nice, though.
I wonder if this is related to another thread where January blend dates are stuck "in production" with no status information from Ford for weeks? I can wait a long time, if I know it's a long time that I'll be waiting 🕰
In the factory process there are several big steps. First your order gets scheduled into the factory, then all your parts are gathered together, Blend is what Ford calls "putting all those things together on your car." The blend date is when that's supposed to happen, it's on your window...

If I knew that in 6 months the...
I only recently picked up on a custom order that someone dropped that has that dealer option on it, I guess Ford builds only recently changed and there's lots of before-and-after search results. If I can weed through the thicket I'll let you know (y)
My pending 2024 window sticker shows that too, the package is Dealer Installed Option. I'm pretty sure that I remember reading that the harness is from the factory on all builds, like you say.
As I read the data sheet on my (now pending hardtop) bronco, my mind started wandering. Are the built-in security measures good enough, or are there other small measures to take to discourage theft.
Beyond it being a stick shift :giggle: that is...
