Only had to replace mine after 2 years, with plenty of highway usage in the first 1.5. Now where I live has lower speeds, but also gravel roads so I think it's a wash.

I get this too. I keep my foot on the pedal the same amount through the corner and get a huge boost of throttle just as the wheel returns to center. Just let me whip shitties Ford!

Could you explain your procedure for using manual mode for offroading? I have tried it a few times but found that I had to shift too often or I felt like I was overrevving. Do you skip gears and does the computer do that fairly seamlessly?
