That makes sense.
The positive encouragement is appreciated.
I'm just frustrated after another scheduling period being left in the cold, and after noticing I've been waiting 519 days, I realized (given my particular skillset) I probably could've built myself a truck nearly from scratch in...
While that sounds super positive, the fact that I reserved 7/15/2020 and still have no idea if I can even expect to get mine before 2023 has sucked nearly all excitement.
I totally thought it was going to be a gimmick, but after trying it at the Moab offroadeo, it is definitely awesome.
it’s a situational tool to be sure, and one should be careful to try not to tear up trails with it. With the 2.7, it was easily controllable, and I can definitely see it...
I doubt that. Many first 48 hour res holders who ordered in that window don't even have vins yet.... (myself included)
That's really impressive. How'd you manage to get a reservation in 22 days before the reveal? 🤣
Thanks for the update Ryan. Awesome to hear that it’s getting looked at.
Unfortunately oversights sometimes make it through to production, kind of a fact of life.
At a quick glance I’m guessing the prototype was done with a Bronco that had the modular bumper, which lacks the recovery points...
I’m also a 7/15 2 door basequatch.
Personally I don’t really want the 4 door near as much, and it’s more expensive. The idea of spending more to get something I want less, is one I find very unappealing.
That being said, I have been dead set on a 2 door since day 1, so your mileage may vary.
Anyone else notice this bump on the side of the fender? Right where a charging port would go?
I wonder if there's a plug in 3.0 hybrid in that? 🤔
Edit: a few people have pointed out that they appear to be louvers, especially from other view angles.
I disagree. I actually like the single fold capability so I can compromise and have one person in the back seat and extra gear.
Though I wouldn't have mind if they had made the 2 individual seats were quick and easy to remove....
Mid twenties and went with a 2 door.
Personally I want the shorter wheelbase for maneuverability, I seldom ever have passengers in the back seat, it's cheaper, and my last 2 broncos were 2 doors.
As for cargo, the 2 door has enough room for a weekend of camping for 4 people and all the...
Any updates on this? Seems like the easiest solution, if the skid plate can't be changed, is to change the bumper to cover the gap, or offer an intermediary plate that spans it.
If it's anything like my f150, probably closer to $400. I had my rear brake pads and rotors done by a dealer and it was almost a grand (a fact which they decided to leave out until I was there to pick up my truck and pay)
Interesting, I just did the Moab off-roadeo in a badlands (On 33s), and I didn’t find a huge difference whether it was connected or not until I was at full flex.
Even then, lockers more then made up for not disconnecting, and on the faster portions it reconnects at 10mph anyways. By the end...
Not sure those estimates are pessimistic enough. There are many day 1 hardtop res holders that are now Q1/2 2022, I'm a day 3 res and I'm just hoping to see mine before the end of next summer at this rate.
Welcome to the club, there are many first day 2 door reservation holders that won’t see theirs until next year.
