I just saw an August reservation who took delivery of their 2 door eruption green Sasquatch…
As a July 15th reservation with a 2 door basequatch on order, that is mildly infuriating. This is definitely going to be my last time in the scheduling cycle one way or another.
The 2.3 still has more horsepower than the 5.8l in the 1996 bronco, or any non-hybrid non-v8 wrangler.
it’ll be just fine, no sports car, but more than adequate.
Is this a 2 or 4 door?
Interesting, the 2 we have so far with vins saying no rear sway bar are a non-sas 4 door, and a wild track 2 door. I’m thinking the sway bar is added to 4 door Sasquatch, which would confirm that it’s for the roof rack, because previously that was the only config you...
Did you try using crawl control after you got stuck?
Sometimes in conditions like that (or sand), the computer controlled inputs can control wheel spin far better and actually get it unstuck.
This is probably the last chance for me. I want to be wheeling by summer so if I’m not scheduled in this batch, there’s not way for me to get my Bronco by June.
Nope, Ford changed the rules to add allocations. Originally ford advertised in order of reservation.
Given the timing when ford reneged it is very likely they introduced allocations because other dealers complained that ones like granger got so many orders.
they played in the rules, and then...
I think Ford is now prioritizing walk in orders over reservations. They probably assume reservation holders are already on the hook and will wait as long as it takes, but each walk in order they don’t fill is a definitive sale lost.
Who’s more likely to walk away given another 6 month wait...
Sounds like the same boat I’m in, except I don’t have a build date. I had a lot of sentimental reasons to be excited for the Bronco, but I’m starting to face the fact that if I want to be wheeling this summer, the Bronco likely isn’t a realistic option for me at this stage.
Because they aren’t building just reservations. There are walk in orders at my dealer who got vins and build dates within 2 weeks of ordering.
Each time that happens a reservation holder gets pushed back further. Throw in the allocation model, and if your dealer sells enough walk in orders...
Well, I was going to wait and see if my Bronco got scheduled this round before beginning to negotiate with the Jeep dealer.
Since I want a new 4x4 by summer, I’m running out of options, so guess I might place an order for a Jeep and then just cancels whichever one doesn’t come in first 🤷‍♂️
Wow, you actually got a response! I just got blocked for asking something similar.
At this point, if I don’t get a bronco I’m sure as hell not getting a ford. My plan B was a Ranger tremor, but the metric ton of B.S. ford has put out has made me reconsider doing business with them. It really...
I had to throw a quick burner account together to view it (given the title of this thread) but it looks like he’s getting blasted pretty good over it
You're just a few hours ahead of me. Unfortunately I am also very unconvinced I'll get mine by summer, so I'm looking real hard at a Rubicon right now.
You seem to not understand how to agree to disagree. I clearly defined that the time was from the pre-order, and how I defined waiting. You can disagree if you want, but your opinion doesn't carry any more validity than mine.
P.s. you may want to read through the rest of this thread as the...
Given that you were criticizing something I have explained very clearly multiple times, your post just makes you sound like you didn't bother reading before typing.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you are probably the fifth person to go round and round on this, and like I said, I used that...
Given that walk in orders have gotten vin numbers in 2 weeks (per my dealer), and I'm 11 months out from my order, I'd say my response is well justified.
There's a reason for using the bigger number to attempt to provoke a response (since @fordmotorcompany seems completely unwilling to...
