  1. 2023 Ranger Raptor 3.0L EB V6 Confirmed - Hello Warthog!

Yes it does, and you’re probably right. The reaction still seems to be “but it’s a stupid explorer transmission! I want a real truck transmissions!”
  2. Neighbor just bought a 392 wrangler

Fair point, but I suspect the Bronco will at least keep up a lot better than most people expect. At the tire, the Bronco and the 392 wrangler still put the same max torque, and without launch control, I suspect that in real life they’ll be significantly closer than expected until you hit high...
  3. Neighbor just bought a 392 wrangler

Don't forget that a lot of broncos will be running 4.7 axle gearing while the jeep comes with 3.73. This actually puts the torque at the wheel (once accounting for the transmissions) roughly the same. Add in the full time 4wd in the bronco and you will probably have a good chance of at least...
  4. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

Do you have a source for this? It seems like until this morning we all assumed 10r80 for both, but there's only been evidence put forward for the 10r60.
  5. What age range are our Bronco owners here??

I'm definitely on the younger side, but with it being just me I can get the 2 door and have it still be a practical DD 🤙
  6. Two "Hot Takes" from seeing the Bronco

I'm thinking that center console grab handle mount might be the perfect spot to design a CB mount 🤔 Maybe I should design a 3D printable grab handle/CB mount lol
  7. Guidance needed--possibly changing order

A while back I did a bourbon fueled rundown on the strength difference between the m190 and the m210, here's a link to that post. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/stock-190mm-front-axles-tough-enough-to-turn-35s.2599/post-83679
  8. Badlands vs Wildtrak side by side

The badlands in the photo doesn’t have Sasquatch though, it’s sitting on 33s.
  9. Badlands vs Wildtrak side by side

If you look close at the tires and flairs you can see the wildtrak tires stick out further from the bumper and that the flairs kick out as they go.
  10. Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?

3rd Bronco My first was a really clean rust free 96, with the 351, tan with a burgundy top, forged rims and 32" Ko2s. Still miss that truck. Second was a dark red rust bucket 89 manual 302. I was constantly having to work on it, and when I had a career change I couldn't keep up (and thus...
  11. Ford's communication around this is unbelievably bad

Same one actually, so I'm not surprised we've been given similar answers haha
  12. Ford's communication around this is unbelievably bad

If you don't mind me asking, which dealer did you go through? I've had similar difficulties trying to get an answer about where I stand in the allocation line...
  13. Those of us who are email-less so far...stay calm.

I'm waiting until COB today to be sure I'm not in the first week of production. I just got the ford pass email this morning, and I usually get the automated emails from Ford about a day later than everyone else. (Still don't think I'm in the first batch though...)
  14. Priority 1 Status!

Yeah, I know, but I at least stand a decent chance it seems. I haven’t had great luck finding out where I am in the allocation yet though, which likely isn’t a good sign 🤣
  15. Priority 1 Status!

This is great news to me, I am a July 15th res v6 basequatch, so this means I have a chance of being in the first batch! Thanks for sharing!
  16. I'm driving my dealer crazy!

I’m on a basequatch, so I couldn’t get A51, so I went with white and I’m planning on a vinyl wrap.
  17. I'm driving my dealer crazy!

Can’t help ya much with color, but my preference of the ones you listed would be Area 51. (Which I hate the fact it isn’t offered on base....) Badlands gets my vote over wildtrak, you get everything in the Sasquatch package, but more flexible suspension (at the trade off of slightly smaller...
  18. đź“· 2.7L Bronco Engine Bay Photos

I think the lack of insulation is a pre-production thing. We have seen a few with hood insulation, so I suspect the retail trucks will have it.
  19. đź“· 2.7L Bronco Engine Bay Photos

The oil filter is on top of the engine, roughly center and front, just to the passenger side of the throttle body
  20. Alpha Wolf

Kinda dig the retro styling. Reminds me of Marty Mcfly’s truck Especially because I don’t see any cup holders in this thing’s interior! 🤣
