  1. Confirmed: Manual + Sasquatch Bronco, October Build & Price!

I'll bet it might be more now, if we are no longer forced to take the $1600 automatic option.
  2. Confirmed: Manual + Sasquatch Bronco, October Build & Price!

Yeah, probably Oct. 31st, on the switch deadline... ?
  3. Likely no pricing until late October and a good portion of the dealerships aren't apparent Granger Ford quality....Just a Hunch...

Not necessarily true. If it's the packages and options that get the price hikes, it will be Ford getting the brunt of that money, not the dealers.
  4. Likely no pricing until late October and a good portion of the dealerships aren't apparent Granger Ford quality....Just a Hunch...

Oh, Ford would never do that, would they? You mean like selling 1.5 million cars with a DCT transmission they already knew was problematic and defective before the first one was ever sold? And then telling their customers "It's supposed to act like that."? No Ford would never do that! ?
  5. Bronco Build & Price date

Go Steelers! :D :D :D Staying on topic, Ford get your sh!t together on the B&P!
  6. Performing engine break in period (breaking in) during long delivery roadtrip?

Use the US highways rather than interstates. You will get varied speed limits, go through small towns, and actually see the towns and countryside. If I go with Stephens, it is right on US 119, which crosses US 22 in PA about 35 miles from me. Should be a nice ride! :D (y)
  7. No V4 apparently either... ;)

Shouldn't that be BY August? ;)
  8. Removable Windows

Might be a deal-breaker for me. My rear seat passengers have to have some way to get some ventilation. Hell, even a minivan from the 80's had hinged rear windows with a latch at the bottom where you could open it a couple inches outward. ? (n) ?
  9. My in-person first impressions with Granger Ford & Ford Ranger 2.3L

$4500 seems a bit steep for wheels, tires and a 2" lift. On the Interactive Garage website, I outfitted a base Bronco with wheels, BFG 33's, upgrade bumper with brush bar, and rock rails, and it came to $3240. Makes the Sasquatch package look like a bargain, given the upgraded axles/lockers, and...
  10. Manual Functionality

I'll bet your buddy wasn't too happy about it, either! :ROFLMAO:
  11. Bronco Build & Price date

Talk about dicking your customers around... ?:poop:?
  12. Getrag Transmission: German or Chinese?

Those are DCT (dual clutch transmissions), not a conventional torque converter automatic. That transmission has cost Ford a fortune in lawsuits and warranty claims. I'm so glad my '14 Focus is a 5MT!
  13. NFL Teams Roll Call!

    GO STEELERS! :D :D :D
  14. All the vehicles we have owned before.

I've owned too many to even remember them all, and some were quite forgettable. Here are some of the more interesting ones, in chronological order from 1976-2020 (to the best of recollection). All manual transmission, unless marked with an asterisk. 1963 Plymouth Belvedere * 1973 Plymouth...
  15. Video demonstration of rear seats folded down flat in 2 Door Bronco (from Bronco Super Celebration)

A vehicle that is 6'7" wide isn't a full-size vehicle??? And I'd much rather have a lift gate (an extra 20" of leg space for sleeping) with a separate swing out spare carrier
  16. Video demonstration of rear seats folded down flat in 2 Door Bronco (from Bronco Super Celebration)

Good luck doing that with that 6" bump up... it's making my back hurt just thinking about it! ? ??
  17. Fully Loaded Badlands at purchase vs. Base model with after market stuff ($55,000 budget) What would you do and Why?

Here is a base with with $3,240 worth of aftermarket wheels, 33" tires, bumper and rock rails. Pretty sweet....
  18. First 2021 Bronco Badlands 2-Door Trail Rig pics & videos from Bronco Super Celebration West!

That is NOT flat with the rear cargo area. There is about at least a 4" rise.
  19. First 2021 Bronco Badlands 2-Door Trail Rig pics & videos from Bronco Super Celebration West!

Agreed! I do NOT like how the rear seats fold down. Even in my Focus hatchback, the seat bottoms fold up against the fronts, and the rear seatbacks fold down giving a flat floor. This is really disappointing. (n)(n)(n)
  20. I just drove a new Ford Ranger w/ 2.3L from Alabama to Pennsylvania

If you stuck to the interstates, you probably didn't really hit any steep grades. When you got back to the Burgh, you should have tried it on some of those steep streets on the South Side before you turned it in. ?
