Ford marketing hasn't done shit. The design and engineering of the Bronco has hit a home run. As someone said earlier, you could hire Mickey Mouse to do a better job with the launch. And with all due respect, I'll support Ford with my hard earned money because they designed a great vehicle...
Fair enough. But if any publicity is good publicity wouldn't more publicity be better publicity? I'm sure Covid has impacted the contracts, etc. but there should be enough details ready that Ford can give us more information than they have. Every company in the world has dealt with Covid...
Not sure what the Warthog launch in a year or two has to do with the marketing efforts for the current model launch. But ok. Plus, they could give us some Information by now instead of just vague promises even if they are still working out the details.
If you create a product that has people clamoring for it because it's an absolute homerun, you don't follow it up with vague information and bullshit promises of information that you can't adhere to. The alternative is reality. And I don't give Ford a pass for it.
You're probably right. But do you think the vacuum of information is moving the needle with with average person who is interested in the Bronco? Me thinks not.
I've been thinking about Ford's marketing efforts. In my opinion they've been abysmal. I've been trying to decide whether they're incompetent or just mistaken in their efforts. I mean, the Bronco has been absent for over 20 years. I guess I can understand that Ford underestimated the demand...
I own a '77 K5. Sickens me what they've done with the Blazers. BTW, I'm considering getting a Badlands and then duplicating this look. I think it'd be cool to have a K5 and Bronco with the same sorta look. Thoughts?
Thank you so much for all of the useful information. Maybe the Ford guys ought to tap the brakes a little on getting annoyed with all the questions since they haven't given us much to work with in almost 2 months. They should call Mike Levine and thank him for such a grand marketing program.
