I did nearly the EXACT same thing!
I drove an hour and 45 min away. Custom ordered a 2015 JKU WW in Tank got the precise options I wanted and picked it up (including the recovery package) when it came in. Name on the sticker and everything.
Lack of standard safety equipment got me to sell...
As a previous owner of a tank green Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, I REALLY want a darker drab-esque green for the bronco.
100% agreement that I dislike the easter basket green or mint chocolate chip ice cream discards as a color for my vehicle.
Had you asked yesterday, I'd have hated the more...
Ah... I admittedly did not follow the JL.
Once the JL came out, I was just happy to finally be able to claim I had a "real jeep" as there was a new kid on the block. Ha!
I had a Tuffy tailgate security enclosure that worked perfectly with both hard and soft tops for my JKU.
I was on Jeep forums for years and was not aware that some had this issue. Perhaps, I just came along after solutions like the Tuffy and it wasn't a hot topic anymore?
Could be...
Although living my life as a Jeep guy until now, I can say that when optioned with a dual top, the hardtop comes installed on the Jeep, with the soft top inside.
I can't see how else they would deliver the hardtop and soft top simultaneously on this either.
I do like how that...
Soft top on Wildtrak...
I plan on being a dual top person, but was hoping if we saw a wildtrak we would also see how it looked with the black painted grill, mirror covers, and top. All matchy-matchy like.
4wd, Top-down, music playing drives to nowhere with my wife and kids.
Some of my best times were taking random drives in my CJ or with my dad in his TJ when he got one. I had a JKU, but the striking lack of modern safety features made me feel like I was being selfish and not doing the right...
I wanted to love this.
I anticipated I would.
Part of me secretly wanted the internal debate regarding what I should do, to buy what I have been planning to buy, or wait for the warthog.
But these pictures and that overlay have me totally satisfied with the non-warthog bronco.
Someone...
I can't state enough how much I dislike that gray top (should be shadow black anyway on the Wildtrak amiright?)
Also.... where is this elusive hood decal on the wildtrak?
I posted this in another thread, but think it works here just as well. My thoughts are as follows:
I've been around the Jeep Forums for years and have heard these arguments time and time again. Posers and soccer mom jokes abound. Criticism of "mall crawlers," references to "mud bling." Each...
This is the second look inside the factory today that makes me realize that the MIC top will be too gray (light) for my liking.
Again, the contrast of that top to the door handles, the fenders, and the bumper is really off-putting.
I don't like the difference between the colors of the gray MIC top and the plastic for the door handles and fender flares, and the bumper. Shadow black hardtop looks like it might have the win for me.
I'm sorry to hear this. The loss of a pet is a terrible thing to deal with and process.
Please feel free to use us as a healthy(ish) distraction when you need it.
I came here to say this. I have done similar shopping with a GM extended warranty and saved a TON.
Does anybody know who the good dealerships are for discounted Ford Warranties? It might be helpful to post about it here as a central resource.
Thanks for the great reply!
I put a ceramic coating on my Chevy SS when I got it (C quartz after wash, clay iron decontamination, and paint correction) and its AMAZING. WELL worth the time investment up front.
I think I will try the graphene this time.
Do you, or anybody, know how these...
