  4. Utah Road Trip with 7 National Parks and some Fun Offroading

Having a trail buddy is ideal but we did not. We used this guide for Fins and Hells: https://outlawadventuretours.com/moab-jeep-tours/guide-services/ We went by ourselves for Shafer trail and Tower Arch. We only saw a few vehicles out there which was nice, but since those trails are popular...
  5. Utah Road Trip with 7 National Parks and some Fun Offroading

We used this guide for Fins and Hells: https://outlawadventuretours.com/moab-jeep-tours/guide-services/ We went by ourselves for Shafer trail and Tower Arch. Shafer did not require any spotting but we got out a few times for Tower Arch when visibility was sketchy. I can't think of anything to...
  6. Utah Road Trip with 7 National Parks and some Fun Offroading

2 birds with 1 stone here... We really enjoyed Shafer's trail. Not very technical but very beautiful and it takes you right into Canyonlands NP. Shafer's will give you the low canyon perspective and Canyonlands NP gives you beautiful hikes and views from the top.

Just curious... Most puckery? Shafer? Planning on taking my 77 year old mom on this route in 3 weeks. Read it was relatively tame. Don't want any heart attacks. We will be going up from Potash road. Going up has priority. Should I reassess?

  16. Off-roading at Stillwater Ranch near Llano, Texas

I just did the Father's Day run at Stillwater Ranch and really liked it. It is a bit different from other off-road parks since they are only open 1 day a month and closed for 6 months for hunting (6 total days a year for off-roading). There are trails from easy to extreme and there were lots of...
