I know this may be a bit of a reach but, the heavier ply tires will fare much better in off road situations than the lighter ply. I have ripped soft sidewall tires on tree roots sticking out into the trail. Get into a rock garden and crush one on a sharp rock and pop goes the weasel. Those...
I believe that would be the new ones are only available with the whole Bronco. Not available over the parts counter. All other new shocks being built are going into a stockpile until they have enough available for the recall.
It might idle ok but not drive very good, if you get my meaning. Hit the gas hard and it stumbles. Most times a fuel pump will get to a point where it just does not work anymore, leaving you SOL.
It could be as @Beach_Bum said an older battery setting for 5 days and being low enough on charge...
Fuel pump dying maybe????? Classic signs of it, crank but no start. Then after a few tries it builds up enough pressure to fire up. Just guessing here.
One thing I noticed is how he is barely working the 7.3. With gobs of off idle torque it only takes a blip of the throttle to gets you moving. He does climb that quite fast and seemingly effortlessly.
There is a thread about that. Not 700 ponies but swapped. I agree not cost effective, more of a want the rumble kinda thing.

Brian Wolfe would beg to differ. His "low budget" build with just a BTR cam and intake, was 643 at the crank. Upping the compression and a bit "hotter" cam and we are 700+. I have seen a few other N/A examples pushing the 900 number.
It happens. I've caught myself responding and not realizing it at first. It just took me back to how looong it has been. Some of those guys have not been in the forum in years. Sometimes it makes me think how crazy things have changed around here over the years.
Thanks for taking me back. 🍻
When I saw the notification pop up I thought to myself, wow I don't remember that thread. Clicked on it and was like WOW no wonder...... It was 5 years ago!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::LOL:
Funny thing here. I got this warning about a week or two into ownership. The only odd thing about that would be that my Bronco is a Base Squatch. Which means I do not have adaptive cruise. I have also got the warning that my adaptive cruise was not available at the moment.
Got to love...
I've just had my March '23 built rear clamshell replaced for cracking around the rear windows. We will see what happens. I babied my first one for 10K miles. I will use this one much harder as I have less than a year left of warranty.
This is what we used to see early on. Many times people would post about the edges spreading apart. Then those seemed to go away, and it has been mainly the "snakeskin" or cracking around the window since.
