I will post some pics when I'm done here. (they are all on my phone and I'm on the PC at the moment)
Back story for those that might not know........
2023 2DR took delivery March 28. Bronco sits outside, year-round, and I live in PA. Just turned 10K. Always hand washed and left to dry. Never...
I find that hard to believe. My 2DR top section is as long as the door itself. I would imagine a 4dr matches the door as well. A 2DR door is longer than a 4dr door.
I would tell my wife her Taurus sounded like a coffin door when the end link was bad. :ROFLMAO: Last verse of this song fit the bill. I can't help myself; I'm an 80 Metal guy. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!
"Last one out closes the coffin door!" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Seriously though, have a buddy push on the bumper and you take a can of WD40 and start spraying control arm bushings, upper and lower, also try the rubber that isolates the spring. The wife's old Taurus...
I still watch F1 today but IMO it has not been the same since the departure of.......
The Stig......
The TV coverage, the races, etc. I guess I'm just stuck in the 80's and 90's, oh those were the days.
If you have an engine hoist it can be used to remove the top. Found this post on the 6G FB site.

Hard to pin it down to just one but I would say it would have to be the '89 Foxbody I won the 5.0 shootout in '93 at Maple Grove. I have lots of pics just none on the computer/phone, it was before cellphones.
pic from the interweb
My '78 Granada 302 was a blast as well. Spent as much...
For what's it's worth I can remember the early 6G days watching Trail Militia videos when he first got the Bronc.(2DR white one) Running sand dunes and they were just trying it out, next thing you know the hit a dune "just a bit hot" and ended up catching 4 tire air. He even commented on it...
It's not how strong something is it is more of; it can only take so much stress and if that stress is not in a "normal" fashion it leads to failure............sooner or later.
Like I said it was not the 25mph bump that did it in it was the stress from before that. The bump was the straw that...
Yep the loud POP was the failure. Think of a tie rod failure. Loud POP. Bronc is pigeon toed. The failure started before that. The 25mph bump was the "straw that broke the camel's back". POP. it finally relieved the stress.
Bronco tie rod. You bind it up, then push it, then push it a bit...
To add to my above post, I can recall Quinn saying when he first produced the Bronco portal if someone was to come to him and say they want a set of race portals for a Bronco to race in Ultra4 he had more than enough confidence in the "street" version to use them. Easier to setup/install on the...
Although I'm not defending anyone here but there is also the point of blindly drive full song into a rut, or not seeing it, then the rut jacks the wheel. Puts you in a bad situation. etc. etc.
Watch some footage of an experienced driver through those ruts and you will see him scrub off some...
Dry lake beds are not necessarily flat. If they were to get some moisture, then get driven on, it would produce ruts in the otherwise flat, undisturbed lakebed. (edit: Mud and Ruts Mode :ROFLMAO: )
 Kinda like what happened at the KOH race this year. Some of the lower classes/earlier...
