I found this wicked old thread last week and was inspired to improve the rear cargo area lighting in my 2Door. My focus was simple & inexpensive camp lighting while cooking on a tailgate table.
I had a few of these kicking around my shop...
My DV8 shock skids arrived today. Gotta say they look really well made. I did realize that they do not have a drain hole. As a result Iām considering drilling a small hole in each of them. Anybody considered this?
I believe that @Bricktop added the stitched dash. Hey Brick, can you please Tells us more about that process?
Part numbers / costs / install / photos / etc.
I have the low tech package so my screen is the smaller one, would that interfere with the process to upgrade my Badlands to the stitched...
Reallyā¦several years later we learn about this and itās limited to 3Y/36K miles, thatās some proper BS.
Unless my windows are 100% down or up my 2Door slaps its windows so hard they sound like theyāre going to explode. Super floppy when the door is open.
I donāt have any worthy tips other than to take it slow when you pull out the clips. Some of mine came out easy, some were fussy. If memory serves I only broke one clip, I just ignored it as the panel has stayed in place just fine without it.
I wrapped up the excess belts in a micro fiber...
Over the years Iāve tried Baja Designs, DD and Morimoto. In my experience the Baja Design lights have been the best.
However I am biased to their yellow/amber color temperature.
2023 2Door Badsquatch, 2.7L.
Brakes work fine, but it has a very quiet buzz / pulse when off.
Is this a short or something normal like an evap value? I donāt know.
Hard to hear this but go somewhere quiet and turn the sound all the way up.

Iāll definitely be following how these are received. I installed the 2.0 HD kit in my 2Door last week. Still need an alignmentā¦ha ha ha.
Do the 2.5ās have a steel shock body like the 2.0ās? Gotta admit, Iām over aluminum shocks that need to be pulled to adjust the preload.
