If you want switch 4 to always be hot, switches 1-3 will as well. No way around that. You can’t have switch 4 hot and not 1-3.
Same goes for switches 5-6 however they are not tied to switches 1-4. You can’t have switch 5 hot without 6 being hot.
Only thing I don't like is that the light kit doesn't light up the rear section of the step for the rear doors (well least on 4doors, no idea about 2 door).
My statement you quoted from 6 months ago was correct at the time. Things may have changed since then. Ford also had a disclaimer that it wouldn't work with high or lux package. Heck, one couldnt even add this to their build order at one point if you optioned for the high or lux package...
Eventually they did after having the bronco for week. Only because I made my wife call them and light a fire under the service advisors rear. Thing is, the SA admitted to her that she probably knew more about the bronco and the issue/cause than he did.
Agree. Like in my jeep. The shifter cable plastic connector shattered and I couldn't put it into gear to reverse out of a parking spot and I crawled underneath with a zip tie, hooked it back up and was able to drive to the dealership for the $3 fitting until I could install a bolt and nut in its...
Wanted to provide an update on this after the wife was able to pick up her Bronco late last week.
It ended up being the AWD module (MB3Z7P238D) and appears that when the tech reconnected everything, one of the connections wasn't secure or had some moisture in it, so the tech ended up adding...
No way I would tow my trailer offroad without trailer brakes, even when its behind my f150. Granted Im a bit heavier of a trailer but the rocky trails I take it up and down including mountain shelf roads, last thing I want is the trailer yanking the vehicle over, which is also why I prefer the...
Id be pissed too if they ordered me a wildtrack when I decided on a Badlands and in a different color. I wouldn't have taken possession of it. Thats how much I prefer the BL over the wildtrack.
I have 35” tires on my 6” f150, heavy wheels, tow w/ it and offroad rocky terrain. But after the 3rd set of oem rotors/pads, I swapped them out for the a full front/rear setup of Powerstop. No issues since.
Similar to what I do for most of my vehicles, Id look at upgrading the rotors and pads. The oem brakes on my ‘17 f150 were awful. Dealership replaced them 3x under warranty for warped rotors. I decoded to then upgrade once I hit 36k miles since majority of my towing is through the rockies. 22k...
Everyone chiming in have a hard top or something? What about the soft top folks? I replaced the oem top as quick as I could w/ a bestop. Unfortunately, the bestop is not like my jeep bestop where the rear unzips on both sides and easy to load a dog then. Neither of my large dogs (not as large as...
Latest update 3/22:
Tech installed the new module but its now throwing new codes so he’s going to continue tracking down the issue and will start with wiring harness under/inside the wheel well. They did admit, this is their first fullsize Bronco in the shop for something like this. I can...
