I got the antenna mounted but I have not installed the radio yet since my project got sidelined by a "turbo wastegate stuck closed" fault at 2500 miles. It has been at the dealer for the last week. I will report back on antenna performance once I get to test it.
I fabbed up an NMO mount for one of the new "Can" dual band antennas. It is made of .188" aluminum. I went all the way from the top to the bottom tire carrier bolts to get a much more rigid mount.
I haven't mounted my Yaesu yet but I did fab up a nice bracket for one of the new "Can" dual band antennas. The cable runs along the factory tailgate harness. (K2PLC) here 73's
Right now they are claiming that everything is fine because they cleared the code and it is not throwing the code anymore. They also say that the TSB for the hardtop leak says there are some Broncos with missing "Pins" in the front weatherstrip seal. They checked and mine is missing two of them...

Bought my new Outer Banks, 2.7L Sasquatch a few weeks ago. I have about 2500 miles on it and tonight I got the dreaded P25B6 - Turbocharger Wastegate 'B' Stuck Closed DTC. I will be calling the dealer 1st thing in the morning. :mad:
