I purchased a '20 Ranger from Elder Ford for my wife. I wasn't really impressed with them as a whole. They would not budge much on the price and kept playing the standard games once it got to the finance mgr.

I wholeheartedly agree! I mounted my radio in the same location and getting that fuseblock out was a real pain. I may have actually invented a few new words...lol I ended up mounting my head unit on the dash though. I am in FL and so far the heat has not been an issue.

I had this same problem. I figured out that it happens if you make the forscan change to switch the country code from U.S. to Canada so that you can get NAV in motion. (Basically being able to enter an address into Nav while in motion). Switching back to U.S. will fix the problem.

I am referring to the [ Ford Bronco LED Off-Road Side Mirror Ditch Lights ] so no reverse light module or red lens??

Can the LED module be removed so that the new housing can be painted to color match with the Bronco?

If you had one of these adapters installed and had a warrantee claim, why wouldn't you just pull it off and put a stock filter back on prior to the dealer visit? Just asking for a friend...lol

The "buttons" are actually a single silicone molded piece over a small pcb (circuit board). You cannot rotate them 90 degrees.

I have been using both the stubby and my Comet 2x4 and I can see very little difference between them which still surprises me. They both work very well.

I fabbed up a mount from 3/16" aluminum plate and an NMO mount. It worked out great and the magnetic can antenna works great on both 2m and 70cm bands. I also keep my Comet CA2X4SR in the back in case I need a little more gain to reach out when I'm in the "back country"
