When I got mine last January at Brandon Ford there were two on the lot and both were sold. I got a call a week later from the salesman letting me know that the financing had fallen through with one of the buyers. I went in the next morning and bought it myself. They were asking $5K ADM but after...
I purchased a '20 Ranger from Elder Ford for my wife. I wasn't really impressed with them as a whole. They would not budge much on the price and kept playing the standard games once it got to the finance mgr.
Just stopped by my dealership [Brandon Ford] in Tampa, FL. There are 12 Broncos on the lot right now. 6 have dealer installed lifts/wheels/tires for an added $20k! One is a Braptor. That leaves 5 stock Broncos with ADM of $2500 each. At least there are Broncos available... not happy about the...
I wholeheartedly agree! I mounted my radio in the same location and getting that fuseblock out was a real pain. I may have actually invented a few new words...lol
I ended up mounting my head unit on the dash though. I am in FL and so far the heat has not been an issue.
Finally got around to posting some pics of my radio install. I already posted previously on my antenna setup. I used a RAM short arm on a Builtright molle dash mount. I also mounted an external speaker pointed up and the sound reflects nicely off the windshield. The Escort radar detector mounts...
I had this same problem. I figured out that it happens if you make the forscan change to switch the country code from U.S. to Canada so that you can get NAV in motion. (Basically being able to enter an address into Nav while in motion). Switching back to U.S. will fix the problem.
I left the Northwest suburbs (Bartlett) 5 years ago for Florida. Reading this thread does bring back memories of places in Illinois. My son still lives up there (Aurora).
If you had one of these adapters installed and had a warrantee claim, why wouldn't you just pull it off and put a stock filter back on prior to the dealer visit?
Just asking for a friend...lol
I have been using both the stubby and my Comet 2x4 and I can see very little difference between them which still surprises me. They both work very well.
I fabbed up a mount from 3/16" aluminum plate and an NMO mount. It worked out great and the magnetic can antenna works great on both 2m and 70cm bands. I also keep my Comet CA2X4SR in the back in case I need a little more gain to reach out when I'm in the "back country"
I figured out that you have to do things in a particular order.
1. Make sure Bronco Trail App is NOT running on your Android phone.
2. Start you Bronco and allow Android Auto to connect.
3. Select the Bronco Trail App on the Sync4 screen in the Bronco
4. Once you have the map displayed in the...
