Lol this article either written by AI or by somebody who has never set foot in an offroader.
How can he say that an electronic transfer case (that can grenade during flat tow if equipped with 4A) is better than a manual t-case with a lever. I guarantee that 90% of this forum would take a manual...
Great to see that this is a viable solution! This will be my plan in the worst case since I'm out of warranty. Do you know if products exist with a smoother end finish, I don't know how much I would like the super rough bed liner.
I briefly had that issue with the auto down after pulling the battery with the door ajar. I found that going through the instructions for removing the door (unplugging the connector etc) and doing the up down relearn fixed the issue.
I have an early fill vehicle (allegedly #636 produced based on VIN) and I have been inspecting my top every two weeks for any de-lam or cracking and I haven't seen any.
Fingers crossed a small population of tops with thicker outer material were produced early in production that aren't affected...
Yeah, your issue definitely looks more pronounced than mine. Just figured I would add more context/ideas for people with less of a gap.
I hope that maybe the 2026 (or whenever Ford does the mid cycle refresh on Bronco) they maybe have a stronger cowl that could be swapped to older trucks for...
The clips at the front of mine are definitely a little wonky, including one that doesn't secure in its hole. However, I chalk that up to a semi-shoddy windshield replacement that was done this spring.
Lucky that your dealer is willing to replace it, I assume you are still in the warranty...
This is about what mine looked like in 85° temps. I got it to almost completely close by loosening the bolt on one side, pulling the cowl over until it felt taught then tightening the bolt. I did this on both sides to get the cowl even on either side and it closed the gap to less than a half...
Off topic: Does anyone know how to get your Ford Points to show up on the app?
We bought our Bronco off of lease and were told that we would get the points added to our Ford pass app. The problem is we have the truck linked to two different accounts and the dealership never asked for ANY ID...
Looks great! I have the Hitachis so at some point I'll need something beefier. I don't really need much lift so maybe 6100s at the bottom clip would work.
Nice rig! If you ever come across the bridge to visit us Trolls and you're in the Traverse City area give me a message. Tons of Forest Management Unit trails around here.
Yeah lots of products being made on SketchUp and sent directly to the Chinese manufacturer with slim to no test fitting. I think I got the same glovebox divider, very cheesy construction but once it's filled with McDonalds napkins and insurance documents it isn't too bad.
I tried this and it broke back off almost immediately. My defroster broke within 6 months of taking delivery, got it fixed via Ford once, but broke again almost immediately.
I live in Northern Michigan and I've never needed the rear defroster, so I'm not too worried about it. If I could get a...
I would consider 3m double-sided tape to adhere the cowl to the windshield, but with how frequent windshield replacements are on these I am worried that would result in cowl destruction by the glass company.
If @BadBlueBronco gets that aftermarket cowl I would be interested to see how it holds...
I would build it to be a mid duty off-road/forest road truck.
Functional Additions:
Toyo OC 285/75r17
Bilstein 6100s at lowest clip position for a ~1-1.5 inch lift
Severe duty steering for peace of mind
Asfir skids for tank, tcase, transmission, and engine
Metal oil and trans pans, as well as...
