Unrelated but check the torque on your lug nuts. Mine were somewhere between 10-15ftlbs under 100. Not the end of the world and to be expected with brand new wheels. Just a heads up…
DORA is your order confirmation sheet. You can call the Bronco marketing line for your MY Transition and Private Offer certificate numbers and use RagnarKon’s flowchart pinned in the Order and Delivery sub forum here at Bronco6G for price protection numbers.
Oddly, I’m finding the hood trail sights one of my favorite things about driving the Bronco. I guess it’s just a super unique view from the drivers seat.
Yes. You should be within $500 of your last DORA. In addition to the private offer, you should have multiple price protection rebates as well. My “rebates” totaled almost 8k.
Pretty good. Tires definitely had flat spots from sitting so long but those seem to have worked their way out already.
Installed the front Mudflaps and immediately ordered GOAT Fab rockslides since they are on sale. It’s tall to get into and I’m 6’1”.
I did have to adjust the tire pressure as...
Just as I was being lectured by my dealer about how I was being unreasonable pressing them to get more info and I was being rather dickish myself (no excuse- I’m better than that- just hit my limit of frustration)- lo and behold- my Bronco “showed up” at the dealership.
While I apologized for...
Day 6 of being stuck in the railyard 19 miles from the dealership. Ford has figured out how to make every step in this process as painful as possible. Glad I'm paying $1595 in delivery fees for it to take 30 days to arrive at the dealership. Seems fair...
Dealer has been decent so I've been giving them some grace. But tomorrow will be 5 days since it was unloaded so they need to start getting things moving if they aren't on their own.
I’ve tried the Ford Pass hack- attempting to activate it before delivery in case a transport driver accepts the prompt on the screen. No luck so far as the activation is still “pending.”
I’m planning on giving the dealership until tomorrow afternoon before I start leaning on them to get me more...
Totally agree. This lack of transparency given today’s cheap logistics tech is pretty inexcusable. I was stuck for 7 days in Ohio for a broken railcar with no ETA or detail. Now, I’ve been sitting in a holding lot 19 miles from the dealership for four days and counting and the dealership says...
Truthfully, many of us who are long haulers were surprised (and honestly frustrated) to see so many March orders get scheduled.
I would, if I were you, mentally prepare for not getting a 23 MY and may need to deal with the lack of PP. Not trying to be crappy- Ford doesn’t have a great track...
Based on the posts and questions being asked, you can tell who just ordered in March. Us grizzly malcontents have had much more time to learn all the sordid details of this ordering and ownership blood-letting.
I’ve been resisting the “did you try searching” response that was super en vogue...
