We got the standard size and one of the tunnel/vestibule attachments. The tent fit a queen blow up mattress and twin cot comfortably.

We just used our new shiftpod for the first time and it was awesome! One thing to note, it barely fits in the 4 door. The bag is over 6' in length so it has to lay diagonally to fit. It is quite the conversation starter too! If you don't like attention then I wouldn't recommend it, although if...

Pretty sure that it's just legal jargon for covering their hind ends. Whichever solution you go with you still have to make sure it clears the spare or consider doing a spare delete.

Exactly. I measure about 23" up into the door sill then up a couple more to the floor level. So ~25" overall from the ground to get your feet inside.
