  1. The Best Truck Tires, According to Experts (September 2023 review by C&D / RealTruck)

As many have noted... Their focus on the weight went the wrong way for what most of us expected. The AT4w is among the heaviest of tires.
  2. The Best Truck Tires, According to Experts (September 2023 review by C&D / RealTruck)

I'm still trying to get a better feel for how the AT4w is going to do long term. Can't stand the weight... The AT III Toyo is a good tire.
  3. đź’”Bilstein you have some s’plaining to do! 🤬

Yes, the OEM Bilsteins are junk. Even their entry level 5100 is a vastly better built shock. It was suggested on here nearly 2 years ago to consider using a hose clamp to reinforce the "attachment". Will it help/fix the problem? Not sure, but it certainly adds stability to the reservior. It...
  4. BD rims with SAS tires?

Right on! The 285/75R17 is right there also. All around 34.5 and fit on a 7.5" wide wheel.
  5. Bronco OBX - Non-SAS Tire & Wheel Fit

+1 with the crash bars removed should be fine. But that offset is going to give you a fair amount of tire outside the fenders and with no lift, it wouldn't be the look I was after. I realize we all have different taste though... EDIT: I'll add that most 305/70R17's are LR-E and could be a bit...
  6. RIDE Shocks, designed by AccuTune Offroad

With the 0-4.5" rating you have on them, is the shock too far out of it's designed operating range when ride height is set at 0"? Not much up travel and lots of droop... Personally, I would like to do fronts at about 1.5" lift and rears at about 3/4" of lift.
  7. Need some help deciding on a wheel

I get it... I think 0 is a fair amount of poke for no lift. But that's what makes the world go around.
  8. Need some help deciding on a wheel

Fifteen52 make a nice wheel, but all of their options will be 0 offset which puts the wheel too far out for me. I would look for something in +30 or +25 offset.
  9. Tire recommendation for 2 door, non-SAS Outerbanks?

This x1000... Go to a 17" wheel and your tire choice increases dramatically. Also, you can get a standard load tire for the 2dr which rides much nicer than the LT tires. If you wanted to stay stock diameter and width, no problem with a 255/75R17. But since you are going new wheels, you will...
  10. Falken Wildpeak M/T's...any good?

The Falken MT is a great tire. It has a slightly narrow tread width for any given tire size. It is my go-to tire if someone complains about noise level, harsh ride or radial tire pull. Toyo MT's look similar, but are highly susceptible to radial tire pull... The Falken's have never failed to...
  11. Falken launches Falken Wildpeak A/T4W all-terrain tires

It's hard to fathom the best engineering update they could come up with for both tires was make them as heavy as the heaviest tires in the class. I am a HUGE advocate of the AT3w. It's the best all terrain for almost all applications. I sold literally hundreds of sets... Now I struggle to...
  12. New Falken AT4W 35/11.5 17 tires

Nicely done! I'm a huge fan of +25 and 11.5's with the stock "narrow" fender. It just looks better than the wider Squatch fenders.
  13. '21 Badlands rear shock failure

Possibly, I felt like the stainless steel hose clamp was the best option to handle the conditions there. Plus they will have more “force” than you can apply with tie wraps. You can’t say that with certainty. I’ve seen 2 of the reservoirs leaking that didn’t come completely off but both were...
  14. '21 Badlands rear shock failure

I know some people think this is funny or are unwilling to take this simple step. I think it is a good solution that doesn't require any further maintenance and will likely allow the shock to reach it's "normal" life expectancy. And then I can replace it with whatever tickles my fancy at the...
  15. BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain Tire Launches as Successor to KO2

Really sucks, the AT3W was pretty heavy too unless you went with the SL tire. But the tire was so good at everything, it made the weight less of an issue.
  16. BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain Tire Launches as Successor to KO2

A LR-F tire? Yikes! That belongs on an F-350…
  17. BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain Tire Launches as Successor to KO2

I think size has a lot to do with it... I'm comparing 35's or 315's. Although we don't have the exact KO3 yet in a 35, following the trend, it's going to be over 70lbs. The FalkenAT4W is 75.5lbs in LR-C. For comparison, the Kanati Overland RTX in 35x12.5x17 LR-C is 59lbs...
  18. BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain Tire Launches as Successor to KO2

The AT3W and the KO2 are probably the best AT's on the market... And both are making their replacements in to heavy ass tires. Way to ruin a good thing.
  19. 2021 base 2 door 7 speed stock except for tires…what shocks ?

Eibach Stage 1. You can set at 1.3" front lift and 0.6 rear lift for a super mild leveling kit on great shocks and springs. https://eibach.com/eps-search?year=2022&make=Ford&model=Bronco&submodel=Base+2-Door+2.3L+EcoBoost+4WD+%7C+Non+Sasquatch
  20. Rock Krawler Suspension coming Triangulated 4 link

Agree... I would want it welded also. I wouldn't do the welding, but I know the "good" welder. ;)
