Now that is a permanent fix! This is the sort of thing I've done to older vehicles without a care, but for some reason people are more picky with their 50k+ Broncos 😂
I picked up some Amazon specials kind of like those Suparees but haven't installed them. I'm about to rebuild my rockers though (caved in from hard hits to the rock rails) and am leaning towards just having them Line-X'd afterwards.
Probably MT by a hair. That 4 week lead time is a bit excessive, if I played by that model I might still be making them but I don't like making a buyer wait.
Nice choice. I pull a bigger camper with my 7MT 2DR and they are more capable than meets the eye.
Get that Redarc and a WDH and it will be a massive improvement.
Mine has never let me down in over 3 years of ownership, but there have been a couple recalls and a TSB addressed. None of them were critical.
Some people have lots of problems. Luck of the draw I guess.
Toyota is putting out junk and coasting on past reputation, don't trust them more than any...
There's no reason these wouldn't work for a heritage but you'd have to come up with an alternative to the fender deletes he used. Most people screw these right to the fender on other stuff.
I've been recommending Metal Tech. I hadn't seen the Motorworx offering before, looks decent too, it's obvious who they were inspired by...
Or Lobo if money is no object.
