I had some bad noises coming from mine & when I grabbed that driveshaft, I could lift it up & down quite a bit.
Ended up changing the whole driveshaft, which was like $320? and I did the pinion seal on the front diff while I was at it
I really don't see the point of the Ranchero being a separate truck from the Maverick.
Just make a Maverick EV & move on with it.
Having 3 vehicle with a bed options before you hit the 1/2 ton segment seems to be too much.
I'm going to adapt my turn offroad chase mount for this.
Pretty sure I have a spare section of the part that attaches to the tire carrier from when they replaced my first one.
I'll check for it if you want it?
Let's see.
Picked up dirt - trails/off roading
PA, OH, WV, AZ, CA, UT
Travelled through on highways
PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, OK, TX, NM, AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO, NE, IA, NY, MD, VA,
D-Switch panel would let you do all that. It's a bit spicy on the price, but if you have other lights & want to tie everything together, it's a solid option
I'm gonna order one when I get home from work.
Is it really already out of stock? that was quick lol.
I think I can make my current harness & mount work without too much difficulty.
after how shitty my @Turn Offroad one looks because their finish is junk & the chinese lights are so cheap, I'm gonna order one of these & figure out how to mount it on their bracket.
I have diode for all my other lights, so I might as well get this one too
Soft top is the only one I have.
I actually prefer running safari style - top in place but no windows - as much as possible.
If someone made a modular hard top with that option - easily removable windows - I'd be super interested.
Transit is a full size contractor van, like the old E350.
Transit connect is a smaller vehicle, developed in Europe.
Probably more like a comparison between an F150 & a Maverick
I've done plenty of water crossings without any issue at all tbh. It helps that most of them are technically "roads" in WV, so I know there's some kind of base there.
The biggest issue was honestly that there was a little rock lined trench for erosion control right at the base of the hill...
about 5 weeks into owning my Bronco, still 100% bone stock, I decided to go "offroading" really quick in between a wedding rehearsal & the grooms bachelor party, which was just going to be poker & beers/dinner at my place, the night before the wedding.
I took all 3 of his groomsmen with me, in...
There's a few chase lights out there on the market already that would cover the rear facing.
I have the Turn Offroad one & while I've had no issues with the lights, the finish of the housing doesn't hold up at all to NE weather. I had to wire my own flasher module, but I think they now come...
I've been running whatever the most expensive Bosch ones that Advance Auto had were. Spent like $70 on both, have had them on for over 2 years & they're pretty good. Much better than the OEM.
I've been trying to use Citgo via Country Fair more lately.
I haven't noticed a better mileage, but I am getting a better price by joining their app & purchasing a gift card in store to use at the pump. Saves like $0.13/gallon.
Locally, the prices are around $4.20, so that helps.
But I also...
Great question. Off the top of my head I don't remember tbh. I wanna say 24? It was whichever one the grille light instructions said to use & they sent a fuse tap for it. Then when I added the other stuff I just spliced into that wire.
