You would needs to ask the original poster of the thread about cracks. I have no cracks, but the plastic molded in color top scratches easily, I have lots of scratches. No scratches in any painted surface but lots in the plastic ones. Next Bronco I get will have the painted top.

No cracks in my top, but if you are worried about cracks just get the painted top. The painted top is quieter too. Better in every way but the added cost. My next Bronco will have the painted top.

No that it maybe what you want but there is a hidden winch setup for the rear of the bronco too.

The mini winch option looks really cool. It will fit places a normal sized one will not. And less weight.
