It doesn’t do it all the time but it does it like 50-75% of the time. Luckily someone I know, knows the regional service director for the dealer I’ve been dealing with recently and he’s going to get involved and try to help figure this out.
Would Ford void my warranty for doing this?
The weather here is cooling off quickly and this might be why it’s been behaving better and not because of being in a different mode.
all I’m saying is that I’ve owned 6 cars and all of them have had manual transmissions and going from 1 to 2 while making a left turn has never cause a problem untill this car.
I know being in a different mode shouldn’t make a difference but I promise you it does. I drive around in eco almost...
Its been doing this since it was new basically, but when I'm shifting from 1 to 2 it has a lot of resistance and i can like feel the gears meshing together and it makes a clunking/ clanking sound. It'll do it with 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 and it'll do it down shifting from 3-2 to but no where near as...
Mine does the same thing when shifting. I just had my second transmission replacement to lol.
1st one was replaced at 3500 Ish miles and was a C and second one was replaced at 11500 Ish miles and was a B; could have/ should have been replaced earlier, I just didn't feel like dealing with it...

To be fair the back fires on that car where a lot more aggressive and happened when shifting to.
Anyone else with a manual notice that it back fires? I can hear a little pop if I rev it to like 2k rpm and as it comes down get a little pop. It also does it when coming to a stop at stop sign or stop light. Just wondering if this is normal. I assume it is
Its been happening sense it was right off the lot. My focus rs did the same thing and i was able to put a good high temp grease on the spring and it went away but I've done that on my bronco and it hasn't gone away. I've spray wd40 everywhere I could and still didn't go away. and even took a...
