Honestly, I'd wait until there's another problem to take it in. Although when I had my top replaced all they did was come out and take pictures to submit to ford for approval of a replacement top.

yeah mine is still making a loud metallic sound occasionally which is why im not confident this will last.

They changed the transmission fluid out with new OEM stuff and adjusted the shift cable(s) and its shifting significantly better. It's still far from perfect but its much better than it was. I don't expect it to last tho.

Bite the bullet and rent a car. If you shop around you can get some reasonable deals and only be out of pocket for $100 while diagnostics happen. We have a 2024 Big Bend 7MT non-Sas and have no complaints with nearly 30k miles. Neither of us have EVER driven an American manual only Japanese...

Another thing I should mention. The original transmission was going to be rebuilt but the tech said when he pulled it and opened it up it said it wasn’t in a rebuildable condition. And they just ordered a new one. And the second one had metal shavings in the fluid when they drained it.

I’m 6-9 more days with it being out of service to hit lemon law and that is a far better option than trading it in. Atleast that way I get all of not the vast majority of my money back.

Yeah i know what you mean. Theres something else going on causing this. Theres No way all 3 transmissions that have been in this car have had the exact same problem.
