I went with the General Grabber AT/X in 285/70R17 10ply because;
I knew the tire so no surprises on handling, wear and noise so for 90% of my driving they work well. I haven't looked to see how much weight was used.

I got AM wheels with 0 offset so that pushed them out 55mm...
Mpg drop is expected. I've lost 3 tires to rocks cutting thru the plys and 2 flats going to town between the former Jeep & Bronco in 5 years. I think it's only 50ish lbs more total but rolling resistance prolly is greater.

Are the lug single piece? IE there is no sleeve over the solid lug nut. I pulled one off, and it looked to be a single solid piece lug nut.
Kinda lame, I know, but I don't want to be caught needing to change a wheel and have a sleeve cause complications.
