The Bronco Raptor as configured will never be a two door (for an on road vehicle anyway), it's a wheelbase vs track width thing. Handling on the road would be horrendous.
A few months ago I was joking when I said they will probably ship them all the same day to end the “my reservation was earlier” argument, might not be a joke, lol
I’d probably believe it if someone testing one of the mannequins pointed it out. They have talked about lockers throwing codes but nothing about hood or spare tire mounts.
There have been numerous rumors, they all seem to fade away. They are still scheduling, I've heard of a few today besides myself so there must be fix for whatever it is.
Is this actually documented or still just from they guy that supposedly works at MAP? Not trying to be a wise guy just wondering if anything has been confirmed.
Ford is still scheduling builds, I got scheduled today. The problem is parts, could be Ford finally realized they can't build as many as they thought this year without delaying MY23's.
My wife and I have a bet on whose vehicle shows up first, my Braptor or her I4M50, at first I thought I had it in the bag since my wife got bumped to '23 but I'm not so sure anymore.
I wish I knew dealer allocation means everything, might not have even got involved with ordering a new Bronco. Ford assigned me to a local dealer that I've used for 5 vehicles in the past, they are small and I'm the only Braptor allocation GT or otherwise. I guess it could be worse getting stuck...
7/14/20 8am reservation. Moved sideways into the Braptor line but still only have a few Ford trinkets including the deck of cards that just showed up. The dealer sounded upbeat a couple weeks ago saying they got the allocation and should be scheduled with the next round of Braptors. We shall see.
For the first time ever, I received an optimistic reply from Ford Performance and my dealer, both indicating Raptor scheduling in the next couple weeks. They must have received the missing parts.
